If you wanted proper margins on items that were floated? Well you set `display` to `inline`. It wouldn't be an inline element, it would just prevent doubling of margins in IE6.

People have no idea that it used to be the case that you didn't write CSS according to what it was documented to do; you wrote according to what it ACTUALLY did in browsers, which was undocumented.

Is this where the new module system comes into effect? Haven’t fully explored it because of how verbose it would make some things in our codebase and that CSS vars are most likely our future anyway.

How did I not realize or remember that overriding default variables in Sass after they’re declared doesn’t update any reassigned variables? You have to override first for it to take affect throughout.
