After having fallen twice in the last few weeks, I was just put through several tests related to concussion protocol. I didn't fare very well.
Which, FWIW, doesn't surprise me in the least as it's par for the course. I've been there and done that more times than I can remember (literally).
Balance and memory issues are just some of the many joys that accompany this type of injury. I know this to be absolutely true as I get the pleasure of experiencing them firsthand, having had a string (> 10) of concussions (to varying degrees), both during and since I was in the service.
Next up, another MRI to check in on the grey skull material. My last one, a few years ago, was good to go, so I'm hoping for more of the same. Oh, and then more cognitive physical therapy. Yay!
Not fishing for sympathy, lots of folks have experienced traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or know someone who has. Which brings me to the reason for sharing this today, b/c if you or someone you know has a history of concussions (especially complemented with lingering head injury symptoms such as balance and/or memory issues) and hasn't had it looked into further, I'd encourage you/them to do so.
This is ESPECIALLY true of veterans with a history of head injuries, as it's also directly related to an elevated risk of suicide. To that end, the current estimate I saw was pinned at 17.5 veteran suicides a day, although I've seen that as high as 22. For comparison, that's still more than twice the national average.
As for me, my main aspiration ATM is NOT to end up living somewhere where the doors are locked from the outside. Goals AF. 😁

There's a lot going on here, but I'll focus on the intentional effort to trigger TF out of the left, and not the meme itself.
Having observed him for a decade, I absolutely believe that there is method to his madness inasmuch as keeping his opponents tied up in a hot/frothy mess works to his advantage.
Think about it. He effectively keeps Club TDS from being considered the reasonable alternative, as they're driven so predictably insane by his particular panache. And by removing them from appearing center of the road, it allows him to essentially pull the Overton Window further and faster to the right than he'd otherwise be unable to do.
It allows him to grease the skids, if you will, in pursuit of accomplishing larger goals.
Well, that and he's hilarious. 😆
And since he's hitting that note reliably ATM, keeping his ideological enemies far out over their skis more than usual, it would appear that he's intentionally keeping them in a constant state of lunacy for a reason.
That can't be by accident.
Not right now.
Not when everything is on the line.
Trump is playing a much larger/longer game than his critics could even imagine, so it doesn't matter how we get there, only that we do. No one will care about such trivialities when our Republic is restored, and the world is set straight.
Admittedly, seeing the 'play' here requires you to step back and consider things from a bigger-picture perspective, but it does make sense. At least to me it does.

You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible.
