I’m a fourth-generation Floridian born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, a public school kid, the son of a bus driver, and the grandson of a cattle rancher. I want to be upfront: I don’t have @ByronDonalds’ “political experience.” I don’t have his political experience of taking AIPAC money and voting to send more of your hard-earned money to foreign countries. I don’t have his political experience of siding with Joe Biden and eliminating the vetting requirements for Afghan migrants like the sick animal who shot 2 National Guardsmen last Thanksgiving. I don’t have his political experience of making dozens of insider stock trades in Congress, netting him $4 million dollars while the rest of us struggle to keep up. What I have is real-world business experience: I started a business that invested $40 million in companies large and small so they could hire more Americans on their skills and talents, not race or gender. I founded a free high school debate league to teach over 10,000 Florida students the power of free speech and open debate. I partnered with the Governor DeSantis’ Florida Department of Health to host in-school assemblies on the dangers of deadly drugs like fentanyl. I’ve worked to push for change on the outside for a decade. Now I’m running to earn your trust to go on the inside and stand up for you and your family. If @RonDeSantis could run for a third term, I wouldn’t be in this race because Ron DeSantis has been the greatest Governor in Florida history. He stood up to Fauci, protected our freedoms, kept us safe, and made universal school choice possible. I’m running for Governor to, first, preserve DeSantis’ historic wins because Democrats and even some Republicans are already trying to undo his huge wins to make their donors rich. Second, I’m running to keep Florida Florida: that means fighting to make life more affordable, stopping AI Data Centers, protecting your constitutional rights, and standing for conservation. It’s time to embrace capitalism and competition to bring down insurance premiums, gut wasteful and fraudulent spending so we can eliminate property taxes for Florida residents (not snowbirds!), hold insurers accountable when they deny our claims, invest in our public schools while protecting school choice, reverse the 2018 gun control bill that prevents 18, 19, 20 year olds from protecting themselves, ban AI Data Centers that make tech billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg rich while hiking our electric bills and threatening our water supply. I respect President Trump, but if he brings 500,000 Chinese students to Florida colleges, I will raise tuition on them to $1,000,000/year. As Governor, I refuse to let the limited admission spots at our taxpayer-funded colleges be stolen by foreigners.

This morning, I hosted a press conference urging state lawmakers to suspend the gas tax. The Iran War has driven up gas prices a $1.50/gallon in just two months. Suspending the gas tax would save Floridians $5-6 every time we fill up.
