I would love to look into someone who would be willing to work with me on an ASMR type model. I don't do ASMR content, but the style of model I absolutely adore & would love one some day.

I hope that God's will is what truly goes through and that innocents do not suffer. Whether is by Iran, the US or other powers, is the innocent that pay for the decisions of leaders, and no one cares about their lives, only money, interests and oil. Hopefully no civilians suffer 🙏

I do not think Pope Leo is talking about the true Just wars, but rather wars of power and interest. Unlike what many people think, he has also condenmed Iran and other nations as China for their politics or ideals. With him, I try to verify sources and go fully in detail. Many denominations or secular people have been attacking him without understanding the full context. As for the Old Testament, there is a lot of history and context as to why God acted as such, before the coming of Christ. Is as Jesus himself told the scribes "it is because of your hardness of Hearts that the law was placed as such." A lot of history had to pass before the fulfillment of the scriptures, and history back then was even more brutal than what we have now. Is deeper than many think. Hence why to interpret the scriptures, one needs a lot of discernment.

That is a great testimony Strawb. God always takes the initiative to bring us back, and even when we struggle, he does not abandon us. Instead, like the lost sheep or the prodigal son, he welcomes us with open arms. He loves us so much that he is willing to lay his life for our sins, and through his resurrection, make a new creature in our hearts, if we believe in him and follow his love. As for searching which church to go to, The Lord will inspire you where to go. While I would be biased to recommend you - and your husband - to become Catholic (as I am) God will move your hearts to find him where you can. Lean on him, and keep praying for the discernment to see where to go, and he will lead you there. Have a wonderful Palm Sunday too, and let us be ready to live the Triduum and Easter in full communion with Christ. God bless you and Rev, courage!

Today is a very special day for me. 1 year ago today I went back to church for the first time since I was a child. I had no idea what I was doing, I went on a kind of “whim” and I certainly didn’t know it was “Palm Sunday” (and even though I grew up on and off going to many different Baptist/nondenominational churches, I had no clue what “Palm Sunday” or even “Holy Week” was). I spent last year’s Palm Sunday at a Baptist church and I spent this year’s Palm Sunday at a Catholic mass. I am still trying to discern where the Lord is leading me, and prayers are really appreciated as I keep searching for the fullness of truth. I want to keep growing my relationship with the Lord regardless of where I end up, He is the reason for everything and I want to keep that on the forefront of my mind always. My life today looks a lot different than it did a year ago, in many ways. I owe it ALL to Jesus Christ. He has truly changed my life and heart in so many ways, and continues to change me, and will for the rest of my life, and I’m so grateful to Him for that. It has been a slow process over the last year or so, but consistently going to church and reading my Bible has been a huge part of what has helped in becoming more of the person I believe Christ wants me to be, so I just want to encourage you to go to a church and try it out, as well as open a Bible and read God’s Word for yourself. And even if you don’t personally believe you really need to go to a church to have a relationship with Jesus, I want to encourage you to read the Bible and see how being apart of an active Church community is what He desires of us. And not only that He desires it, but why exactly He desires it (because it is truly what is best for us and our walk with God). And what better week to start than Holy Week? Anyways, I just wanted to make this post because today is a very special day to me. It will always amaze me that the day I started coming to church again was Palm Sunday of all days. I hope you have a wonderful Palm Sunday and an amazing start to this year’s Holy Week as we all reflect on what Christ did for us all on the Cross. And as we continue to get closer to celebrating and remembering Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday! 🤍

For me Matt, I am honestly not into the whole Iran thing. The borders, our nation's defense, and bringing jobs? Yes. But that war is underneath more of a secular aim to get more money and dominance than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I want our defense and protection, but I think people have a wrong idea of what just war is. Just war is solely for the purpose of faith and dignity. And this war is more on an interest and money level than anything else. Hence is not longer Just. But then again, that is how the world does and act. We fight with the sword, then we will all die by the sword, one way or another, doesn't have to be through war. God brings consequences in other ways, and we are seeing that worldwide, even in our own backyard. I just pray that whatever happens, God's plan is always what goes through, and that innocents do not suffer from the decisions of leaders and the blood thirst of some people.

I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

No, I agree with you on that. But see what I mean? Is not a war of faith, is a war of defense and interest. There is the difference. Granted as you mentioned, the regime has killed a lot of Christians - they have killed a lot of anyone that goes against them to be honest - but at the root of it, at the very core, we are not going there to fight for faith or its people. That is what I am trying to get at. If you look deeply at it, we are going just because they are threatening us, and because there is profit (oil, money, dominance, the earthly stuff). Otherwise, I bet you we would not even think about them for any second at all, at least secularly. But sadly that is how humans do and act.

So has Nigeria, China, many other nations in the world. Yet Iran seems to be the only place anyone will go fight. Many have done euthanasia and has denied the faith, Israel has closed the Holy Sepulcre Church to Christians. Many in Korea and Japan cannot practice their faith. Even in the US there is persecution. Not violent ones, but there still is. I am totally and absolutely with you though. I wouldn't want Iran to launch a nuke on the US, or any other nation for that matter. I believe in defense, and that has not been denied by the Church, but I do believe Leo would not want Iran to exterminate us either, he does not want the death of people as Vicar of Christ. He aims for peace. That is his job. He does not think as leaders or normal Joe does. The problem with this world, on all sides and thoughts and nations, is that no longer anyone analyzes things deeply and searches truth anymore with deep conviction. We now go into media and you can see the examples. Someone says something and is taken out of context. Many more layers are going on than just attacks and everyone swings their thoughts and opinions like a pendulum without even considering things. I just honestly pray that God's will is done on whatever happens and his truth prevails, because the world is turning into chaos, even in our own backyard. And I have a feeling is not going to stop unless people truly turn to God.

@Dannyzerk @CatholicArena Iran has openly for decades declared "death to America" and was slaughtering Christians by the thousands. Trump tried to negotiate with them, they wanted us dead. I get it, Leo wanted Iran to attack and kill us first. He's very clear on that. Praise God for Trump.🙏

I think that he is not judging the Chirstian circumstances behind defense. He is more judging the human and underneath agendas underneath the whole war. There is a difference between the crusades and this conflict. Just war is made and morally only when the main and SOLE purpose is a danger to the faith and full life and dignity of people, as chirsitan faith shows. And even then, it must tbe only used as a full last resort. The Iran conflict has a lot more than that and hidden agendas under the table, sadly, from all sides, from Iran, Israel, the US, the middle east, and even Europe and the other powers like Russia or China. In the end they do not care about the people there, or Christianity or faith, just their interests (oil, security, money, etc). They are all waiting to wait for a piece of the Cake in money, or for the new Temple to be rebuilt, for cheap oil, etc. That is what he is denouncing, or at least I see it that way. Not the defense and dignity, but the true intentions. The Crusades were different, even if there were some immoral parts to it too. Conflict is tough, even with the best intentions.

The problem is, what about the innocents that will suffer due to the choice of leaders? Are they the ones to pay for the mistakes of the ones making the decisions? Pray for those people, because no matter which side wins, the innocent pay the most. But of course, no one cares about them, is only about oil, power, money, and selfishness. Not even religion is important on the whole thing when it come to ideology, is sad. Lord have Mercy, I pray that hopefully no civilians suffer on all this.

Trump stared those Iranian cockroaches dead in the eye and spelled it out with the cold precision of a man who has stared down worse: Don’t. Be. Fucking. Stupid. He even handed them a ten-day lifeline...a deliberate operational pause until April 6, a window for the mullahs and their IRGC death cult to swallow their pride, sit at the table, and pretend they still mattered on the world stage. A strategic breather born of calculated mercy, not weakness. They chose stupidity. Of course they did. That’s what hubris does to a regime marinated in decades of apocalyptic theology, proxy blood money, and the delusional fantasy that the West would always flinch first. Psychologically, they’re wired for it...a brittle theocracy that mistakes restraint for fear and asymmetric terror for strength. They couldn’t resist one last spasm of defiance: more missiles, more threats to the Strait, more theater for their captive population while the adults were trying to talk. Classic miscalculation. They read Trump’s pause as hesitation. They read Israeli patience as paralysis. They were wrong on every count. Now the lights are going out across Iran. Not metaphorically...literally. Precision-guided ordnance has already begun carving out the electrical arteries that keep their war machine breathing: power plants, high-voltage substations, transmission hubs. This isn’t scattershot revenge. This is textbook strategic infrastructure decapitation...the kind of surgical, cascading warfare that turns a modern nation into a pre-industrial blackout zone overnight. Air defenses go dark. Missile command nets collapse. Nuclear sites lose cooling pumps and monitoring grids. Hospitals, water plants, refineries, the whole fragile apparatus of their oil-funded aggression seizes in the dark. No power means no coordination, no resupply, no projection. Their “Axis of Resistance” proxies...Hezbollah, the Houthis, every rented terrorist they’ve armed...just watched their sugar daddy get neutered in real time. Geopolitically, the map just redrew itself. The Strait of Hormuz they loved to wave around like a dagger is now a corridor of their own making...one they can no longer control or threaten. Oil markets will scream, but Tehran will scream louder in the silence of a nation plunged into stone-age darkness. Militarily, it’s masterful: turning their overextended ambitions and hardened bunkers into irrelevant relics while the real strike packages keep inbound. This is what fuck-around-and-find-out looks like when the adults finally stop warning and start ending threats. No mercy. No power. Only consequences. The regime just earned their entire country a one-way ticket to the blackout. And they have no one to blame but the suicidal stupidity they’ve worshipped for forty years. 💀🗡️⚖️

I'll be sincere, I am not a fan of Laura at all, and she gives me bad vibes. However, to post notes without proof or to insult people just because you do not agree is not right. Not liking someone does not mean you get to disrespect someone, or at least in my books. And yeah, community notes have been abused a lot lately, it has gotten pretty bad too.

X needs to do something about community notes. It's seriously been weaponized, and since when has opinion become fact? I just saw a community note calling Laura Loomer Larry. Accusing her of being male and using it as a note. Ridiculous. I watched people do posts that state the post is AI, then acknowledged it also in the comment section its AI, yet they still get community noted that it's AI. Unreal. At this point, it has become just as bad as facebook fact checkers. Most of us have to vote consistently until we reach a score. Once reached, we write a note with a link to back it up and get down voted by the left. Locking our ability to write. We then have to start the process all over again until we can "write" notes again. It needs an overhaul.

I agree. For a safe society, there needs to be authoritative rule, one that is strong and powerful, but reasonable and just. Authority and right with mercy and love. That is why swinging hard on each opposite does not work. You go too soft or liberal, then people will think they can do as they please and you get crazy people and criminals (example, Europe and some parts of the US) You go authoritarian, and then you have rebels try to break the establishment or corruptions and extreme poverty and segregation (example, part of South America, Africa, and Asia) Bukele found a good middle ground, as is working. I have friends that are from there that said El Salvador has changed for the better these past couple of years. Hopefully the rest of the world can learn, including the US.

All it took was locking up less than 2% of the population. If that sounds authoritarian to you, then you are probably someone who should be part of the 2% that gets locked up! It is not authoritarian to desire safe streets that are free of drugs and gangs. A functional country and civilization requires a high-trust society, and trust can't be created when everywhere you look, there are scammers on the streets and criminals trying to rob you... and "fruit vendors" selling drugs. El Salvador went from the murder capital of the Western Hemisphere to now a tourist mecca, and streets safer than most US cities.

You know, I am getting a bit tired of the whole radicalism of ideologies going on. It sucks. One cannot even have an opinion, as soft or polite as it is, without getting insults or hate. This week I got insulted by two different people. One was a liberal who thought I was crazy and an ass for protecting life and against abortion. And then a MAGA who thought I was a bitch for just giving my thought on dignity of humans. No matter what perspective I give, even if it is the most eloquent and most common sense, I will get insulted by people of any side. I have to accept that reality. Humanity is getting more radicalized by the minute. The left celebrating deaths, which radicalized the right. Then the right will go overboard and radicalize the left again, then it goes on circles like a vicious cycle with no end. Is been like that for years but now is getting exponentially worse with technology and ideologies. Is crazy and sad tbh.

@Dannyzerk @Sassafrass_84 It's not "all are bad." It's when you import so many people that you override the base population of a nation. Very few think in such absolute terms. It doesn't matter what their intentions are. If you fill up a cup of water with 1 cup of oil, it's not water anymore.
