@jeremiahg @fsmontenegro @marknca @hdmoore @AxoniusInc Agree that this problem is manifested in many different ways(which means categories), and I am happy about any efforts to be as inclusive and cooperative with other vendors to enable a change for the better for sec teams

@fsmontenegro @marknca @hdmoore @AxoniusInc Asset inventory, which isn’t yet a well-defined term, can and should be functionally split into varied categories. Like Internet-accessible vs Intranet. Or, IoT vs Web. A taxonomy explaining these areas needs to be created to avoid market confusion.

So industry luminaries @hdmoore and @jeremiahg are working on asset discovery (albeit slightly different angles) and @AxoniusInc wins #RSAC Sandbox. Are we [finally?] seeing a shift to tackle fundamentals the right way? We can hope... :-)
