your competitors will hate you once you know this ASO trick: > open App Store > start typing random words > see what Apple autocompletes > those are real keywords people search > make it the FIRST word in your app name > then add your real app name after > [keyword] + [your app name] > users search the keyword > your app shows up in suggestions > they click > you get installs, trials, $$$ > feel like a growth god

“Dating” is what boys do. Men marry. You’ve been seeing her for two years and still can’t decide? Fuck this dating game. She’s not a decision. She’s a woman. If you know she’s the one, marry her. And while you’re “figuring it out.” She’s waiting. Then make more BABIES!

@Ryanair Flights are cheap, roaming calls aren’t 😅 I usually just call from the browser now instead of my SIM. Feels outdated how expensive ‘normal’ international calls still are. I use yuhucall.com

Skype ceases to exist in 2 months Me and my friends still use Skype regularly if we need to make international phone calls, not online calls, but PHONE calls, like calling US IRS or smth I wouldn't know where else to do that I can't use my phone for it cause would be super expensive Spinning up a basic website that works on laptop and mobile, that charges credits (not free!) and lets you voice calls anywhere probably gets you to $1M ARR in no time I think And there's 100% an API out there that already does that so all you need to build is a front end {brandName} - A Skype alternative to call international numbers worldwide And you have 2 months to build it cause then Skype ceases to exist!

2025 was my first successful year as an indie hacker I grinded for 5 years without any glimpse of hope and then suddenly it all happened at once I saw a tweet by @levelsio, built my own Skype replacement called Yadaphone in three days and launched it on Reddit 3 months later it was already making more than $15k MRR I suddenly believed that I was more than just an NPC 9–5 programmer I scaled Yada to 15,000 users without hiring any support staff and still reply to support messages in under an hour I got my first real B2B clients - huge companies that use Yada as their go-to VoIP solution I also got my first organic traffic from Google which honestly felt like pure magic While all of this was happening I got married and my beautiful wife moved in with me in Vienna I started posting on X and grew it from 100 followers (mostly bots) to more than 3,000 Out of nowhere @thepatwalls appeared and now my face is in a 15-minute video on Starter Story I spent a month in Bali and met the GOAT @marclou in person I got my share of loses as well I made a lot of dumb mistakes with SEO that let my competitors get way more traffic than me For several months product growth stagnated and I switched to building a new thing that I never launched instead of focusing on marketing I still do consulting and sell my time - I got addicted to making money with product + freelancing too much to quit it yet I had several burn out episodes + messed up sleep schedule quite bad and now get up at 10, going to be at 2 AM usually Like all of us, I’m anything but perfect but I try to make do with what I have —— While writing this post I kept thinking that this did not happen to me but it happened to some other cooler and better Denis But guys, guess what, it did The world is huge - keep building skills, researching your audience, and posting - eventually you are guaranteed to build a product that will absolutely change your life So keep going (c) @jackfriks

I remember when I was stuck with MongoDB, and 100M analytics events in the entire database made everything super slow, even with indexes. Now DataFast processes ~150M events per month, and my new database TinyBird loads analytics in seconds. I hate changing my tech stack, but boy, I'm happy with this one.
