@OilersJack There's no excuse for putting Henrique in and taking Samanski out. Knoblauch is driving me nuts.

One of the biggest wildcards for the Oilers playoff run with be if Knoblauch can get out of his own way. Lay off the constant over-coaching with unnecessary lineup changes and in game panic blender. Just keep the rookies that are performing well in the lineup. It’s that simple.

@ryanwhitney6 Knoblauch was incapable of properly deploying his forward group until Draisaitl got injured. Hopefully Knoblauch doesn't revert back to his old ways when Draisaitl returns.

@Aaron_J_Wiebe @NCH__12 Yup... Knoblauch's player deployment has been trash all season long. It's crazy to think that the Oilers may go back to struggling again when Draisaitl enters back into the lineup. It clearly shouldn't be that way, but that's what I expect to happen.

@Doppa_D @NCH__12 He is probably going to break up his successful 5v5 top line. Instead of doing the smart thing of plugging Draisaitl in between Hyman and Roslovic and pushing Nuge down with Dickinson and whomever.

The Draisaitl injury was the best thing for the Oilers. It forced Knob to play his very good forward group evenly. #fireknob

@dstaples Aaron Wiebe brought up an interesting point. Would the Oilers have won 4 in a row if Draisaitl was still in the lineup? Knoblauch has been forced to deploy his forward group more evenly since the injury, and it shows. I'm concerned about what Knoblauch will do when Leon returns.

@Doppa_D This team has always been one of the most talented the Oilers have had the past few years but Knoblauch keeps holding them back with his idiocy. Further proving the need to move on from Knoblauch after the season. I don't care if they win the cup.

@rswitty @4skinnedghoul @OilersJack I agree... they certainly outplayed the Americans, and 9 out of 10 times that game should have been won by Canada. Guess we'll never know what would have happened with the roster being changed up. It is what it is, I just think we could have been stronger than we already were.

Team Canada lost the Gold medal for 3 reasons that the Main Stream Media is way too scared to talk about. 1) Florida Panthers players Brad Marchand and Sam Bennet hid major injuries. Or they were known and still went. (Why?) 2) Doug Armstrong hates the Oilers so left the top scoring Canadian Defenceman and Left Winger (Bouchard and Hyman) off the roster. See offer sheet to Oilers players. 3) Doug Armstrong tried to pump the value of his own players (Parayko and Binnington) to trade them at the deadline. See trade rumours all season. When we are ready for these conversations around personal gain and selfishness we will be ready to compete for Gold again as a country.
