But Linux and PostgreSQL are not made in India... So... (and I think all other foundation bricks... Of Zoho Products, None of them are made in India) why play with people's emotions and name of India??? Eventually, what is supposed to happen will happen right??? Then? One or another security incident or something will happen - which is fine but then this Made In India, will drag India's name too. If you have a great product, you don't have to play with national pride to win the market - and I think in many areas you do have a great product offering... Then why??? Not to undermine the product or the organization and achievements, just that current marketing campaign, while absolutely genius, reeks of hypocrisy - just like any other marketing campaign. PS: it is absolutely hilarious to see technically challenged people(Even many CS graduates) getting high on the emotions in the field of tech (I think most cold, and logical and pragmatic field a human can be part of) but seriously just stop with the narrative.

There are questions about where Zoho is developed and where the data is hosted and who hosts it. There is a lot of false information we want to correct. 1. All the products are developed in India. Our global headquarters is in Chennai and we pay taxes in India on our global income. As a global corporation headquartered in India, we have offices in over 80 countries and have a strong presence in the US which is a big market for us. 2. Indian customer data is hosted in India (Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, soon Odissa). We have over 18 data centers globally and they host the respective country or regional data. We are committed to hosting each country data in their own jurisdiction. 3. All our services run on hardware we own and software frameworks we developed, on top of open source like Linux OS and Postgres database. 4. We do not host our products on AWS or Azure. Arattai, specifically, is not hosted on AWS or Azure or GCloud. We use some of those services for regional switching nodes to speed up traffic but data is not stored in them. We are adding many such "points of presence" (POPs) as we speak. 5. Our Zoho Developer account in the App Store and Play Store lists our US office address because the account was registered in the very early days of those stores by one of our employees in the US just to test them out. We never changed that. We are proudly "Made in India, Made for the World" and we mean it🙏

(2/2) They have locked, fined and extracted money from multiple people in this cross. All hardworking tech employees contributing to the GDP of this City. No No parking signs, not a main road, no obstruction of traffic. Please look into this matter urgently.

Some moments feel so effortlessly amazing. But in reality they're a culmination of countless nights and years of work. Today is one of those days. #focused

@tarunsmehta It would indeed make the roads much more silent for sure. But there's an issue, extremely silent vehicles results in people having no sense of a vehicle approaching. This has resulted in a colleague of mine getting into an accident. Any ideas on how to solve this?

This is the most focused I've been in life. Ironical, considering this is the most amount of responsibility I've ever had in life too. Maybe there's a correlation.

@mspiro3 Loved the whole thread on B2B payments. Working in an early stage fintech startup that is building in the same space.

B2B payments presents a $1T+ opportunity for startups, investors, and incumbents. Here’s a look into areas within B2B payments that excite me and a few early-stage companies to keep an eye on:

@sharktankindia I had my own assumptions of the quality of the show given I was an avid watcher of the US show. But after I got my biases out of the way and connected with the judges of the show, every episode became more and more likeable. Safe to say it's a show India needed!

Things one should be chasing in their 20s in the following order: 1. Direction/Clarity (therefore experiment/take risks) 2. Network of High Quality People (personal & professional) 3. 1 or 2 solid skill sets (versatile enough to allow movement across industries)

Self expression is probably the most important thing in life, it's the most rebellious act for one to do in a world that wants us to be like everyone else. Do yourself a favour this new year and express yourself in your own way. It's liberating and addictive.

It's crazzy how what I imagined doing half a decade back is now something I do on a daily basis. The scale, intensity and rush all exactly how I imagined it, except the money lol. But I've never been more confident of the fact that money will come, I just need to stay the course.
