@KhalidWarsa 😈 😈 😈 😈 Gaming especially competitive games (Not talking about kiddie games) can help you keep your edges sharp... And you can get good games on Steam and other stores.. For throw away prices during sales all around the year.

This is the best time to quit gaming.
-consoles are expensive
-they require subscriptions
-games are expensive
-micro transactions everywhere
-no more good games
Just get a gym subscription and work on yourself. Call your parents, hang out with friends, and enjoy life.

This has been happening for decades. I have been voicing this out from the day I was working in TCS way back in 2008.
TCS cleverly planned the salary increments in such a way that none of the pay hikes comes from the balance sheet.
One year, one employee gets it once he/she gets a high rating. Next year, if he/she does not get that rating equally or better than previous years, TCS reduces their salary. That reduced salary goes to another employee and so on and so forth.
By this way, TCS efficiently manages the pay hikes between employees and nowhere does the salary hikes comes from the balance sheets.
Way back in 2010, when I voiced it in the town hall, they employed an agency to do the survey and even in that I voiced out my opinion. Result - just as any other survey they do, it went into the bureaucratic black hole (I’ll write about this in a separate thread soon - this TCS bureaucracy will put our babu’s to shame).
To sum it up, there is nothing new to be astonished at. It’s TCS’s way of life. 😇😇😇

TCS yearly increments are out and unfortunately many people got salary Decreased 🤣

@privevan @rajeshkmoorthy Nopes. Mediocre and lazy bums thrive in such an amazing environment..
English

@rajeshkmoorthy TCS itself is a scam for everyone to get trapped into, They are the lowest wage paying company of all I have seen and don't talk about hikes. People are still staying there for H1B with meagre salaries. Once bubble is burst everyone will move out

🚨 WARNING for all Pixel owners in India. 🚨
My Pixel device was sent to official Google repair. After inspection, Google declared it “not repairable” and gave me only 2 choices:
1️⃣ Pay ₹22,620 for a replacement device
2️⃣ Get the phone returned unrepaired
Now comes the shocking part.
Before taking ₹22k+, Google India REFUSES to disclose:
❌ Which exact device they will send
❌ Whether it’s NEW or REFURBISHED
❌ Battery health details
❌ Water Resistance Rating
❌ Replacement quality standards
❌ Google cannot guarantee battery health percentage
❌ Google cannot guarantee IP/water resistance rating
And in writing, Google Support confirmed:
⚠️ Once payment is made, there is NO refund and NO return — even if you are unhappy with the replacement device quality sent later.
Most shocking part?
Google could not even confirm whether they have any minimum measurable quality standards/policies for refurbished replacement devices:
Battery health %
Water resistance integrity like IP rating
So basically:
Pay first.
Find out later what device you got.
No refund. No choice.
Without transparency, measurable quality benchmarks or refund rights.
This is not premium after-sales support.
This is “trust us after payment.”
Attaching screenshots of Google Support’s own email response.
Indian Pixel buyers deserve transparency before payment, not blind acceptance.

I faced something equally ridiculous with FASTag.
I got a FASTag through Amazon Pay which was issued by ICICI Bank, and just because there was a ONE DIGIT mistake in my car number, the FASTag got activated without any proper RC verification.
I immediately asked for deactivation, but Amazon Pay kept redirecting me to ICICI and ICICI kept sending me back to Amazon Pay. There was no clear process or accountability from either side.
The worst part? Another vehicle actually existed with that same number combination, so whenever THAT car crossed a toll plaza, money was getting deducted from MY Amazon Pay wallet automatically as toll payment.
Imagine losing money for someone else’s toll usage because of such careless verification and system failures.
It took me almost ONE MONTH of struggle to finally deactivate that FASTag. Pathetic management, zero verification standards, and absolutely no concern for customers facing these issues.
The FASTag ecosystem seriously needs strict RC validation and owner verification before activation.
English

🚨 FASTag has a MASSIVE security loophole & nobody is talking about it.
Today, literally anyone with access to your car & RC can get a NEW FASTag issued on your vehicle in THEIR name & mobile number.
No OTP.
No owner authorization.
No consent from the actual vehicle owner.
The moment that happens?
Your existing FASTag gets blacklisted/deactivated instantly under the “One Vehicle One FASTag” policy.
That’s exactly what happened to me.
I’m currently transporting my car from Mumbai to Delhi & handed over the vehicle to the transporter’s driver on Saturday.
He casually asked me if there was balance in the FASTag.
Next morning, I received a message from ICICI saying a new FASTag had been activated on my vehicle & my existing FASTag would be deactivated.
Within minutes, it was blacklisted/deactivated.
Honestly, God knows what the plan even was.
Maybe he thought the balance would transfer.
Maybe he wanted to misuse it during transit.
Maybe something worse.
The scary part?
The system ALLOWED this without a single authorization from the actual vehicle owner.
The NETC FASTag portal was down the entire day.
After 4+ hours of calls, ICICI finally told me the new FASTag was issued via Airtel Payments Bank.
Later, I checked the Airtel Thanks app & guess what?
The FASTag had been registered by the SAME driver who took the car.
This is where things become ridiculous.
Airtel Payments Bank support told me THEY cannot close the FASTag unless the person who activated it calls them personally.
Read that again.
The actual vehicle owner has ZERO control over the FASTag -
but the person who fraudulently activated it does.
The NHAI helpline at 1033 was equally useless.
No emergency block.
No fraud handling.
No owner protection mechanism.
So if someone activates a FASTag on your car, you’re basically stranded.
How is this acceptable infrastructure for something linked to a vehicle owner’s identity & movement?
This is no longer just a scam.
It’s a massive security vulnerability in the FASTag ecosystem.
NPCI/NETC urgently needs mandatory owner authorization.
At the very least, mandate OTP verification from the registered vehicle owner before ANY FASTag change is approved.
This needs immediate attention, @NPCI_NPCI @FASTag_NETC.
Pathetic support, zero accountability, and absolutely no protection for the actual vehicle owner while someone else fraudulently took control of the FASTag.
That should never be possible, @ICICIBank @airtelbank.

A young teacher finally broke her silence today while resigning from her school job. Her voice carried frustration, exhaustion, and years of bottled-up emotions.
“I was teaching five different subjects on a single salary — English, Grammar, Computer, Conversation, and even Dance,” she said. “If I got even slightly late in the morning, they would cut an entire day’s salary. And if I accidentally spoke in Hindi instead of English, there was a fine for that too. Every single minute was monitored.”
As she continued speaking, her pain became impossible to ignore.
“Teaching is no longer just teaching,” she said bitterly. “Now we are expected to bring admissions, manage functions, do marketing, pose for promotional photos, and handle tasks that have nothing to do with education. We came here to become teachers… but we’re being treated like daily wage workers.”
For a moment, she paused, trying to hold back her emotions.
“Where did the respect for teachers go?” she asked quietly. “There was a time when teachers were treated like mentors and guides. But today, in many private schools, we are seen as cheap multitasking tools instead of educators.”
Her words struck a chord with countless people online, especially teachers who silently carry the same burden every day. It wasn’t just a resignation speech — it was the voice of an entire profession asking for dignity, respect, and humanity once again.

@amarDgreat @anubhavgupta_ji @Mrsinha While there are many retards who follow any BS peddled by NaMo/BJP, I think all the alternatives are nightmarish.
English

Go to any petrol pump and ask common people if they’re upset over fuel price hikes...
Most of them won’t just blame the govt. They’ll talk about global crises, wars, crude oil prices, taxes, and the larger economic situation.
People today are far more aware and politically mature. That’s one of the biggest reasons Congress keeps losing elections.
You can’t fool voters so easily anymore. People are willing to tolerate certain discomforts if they believe the govt’s intentions are right and the alternative is worse.
India has truly come a long way, from bringing down govts over onion and salt prices to understanding and even justifying price hikes in a larger global context.

@arunpudur I am afraid that this got retracted for now but it will come back in disguise... 😔 😔 😔 😔 😔

‼️Fake news by India Mainstream media is so out of control, that PM Modi himself had to do a fact check.
Until GOI starts prosecuting and fining Fake news peddling media company founders and propagandists this will not end.
Singapore has a famous one strike policy, which leads to media license revoking and bankrupting the owner by imposing massive fines through the courts.
If GOI doesn't act, they will continue fake news to continue economic warfare and 0.5 war against the nation.

@UBhartiye @Tushar15 @thevirdas Don't you think you are expecting way too much from a bhaand on top of it, a communist bhaand? On a serious note I don't mind his comedy sometimes, but when he subtly tries pushing his agenda, it looks as dirty as BJP IT Cell guy pushing his agenda under the garbs of Hinduism.
English

@Tushar15 @thevirdas Big ask that is … he can only ask questions ONLY , Expecting him to read data and apply intellect s way too much

In the near future, as this economic crisis unfolds, it’s going to be important for us to ask questions of our leadership. When you do, your replies and your timeline will be flooded with hate and attacks. Don’t take it personally, it simply means the question was a really good one. The quality of the question is directly proportional to the number of anonymous replies.

I have like 20 years of experience and got into AI coding pretty hard.
You can't vibe-code production ready SaaS in a weekend. Take months. Even with experience.
The most important isn't implementing something.
The most important is to know:
- what is required to build
- how this fits the current system
English

Serious question.
For 20 years, a "Software Engineer" was someone who spent thousands of hours mastering complex syntax, logic, and architecture.
Now, a 19-year-old can vibe-code a production-ready SaaS in a weekend using plain English and a $20 Claude subscription.
What does the title "Software Engineer" even mean right now?

Today, after many days, I went out with my family to enjoy a meal at a hotel. I thought we would spend some happy moments together, but the experience completely ruined my mood.
We ordered food for three people, and after finishing our meal, we asked for the bill. To my surprise, the total amount was around ₹10,000. I was shocked because the prices mentioned in the menu card were nowhere close to such a huge amount.
I immediately asked the waiter why the bill was so high. Instead of giving a proper explanation, he casually replied that I probably had not checked the menu carefully.
I then asked him to bring the menu again. After comparing it, I questioned why the menu appeared different from the one we had seen earlier. However, the waiter insisted that nothing had been changed and claimed it was the same menu.
As the argument continued, the manager arrived. I explained the entire situation to him, expecting a fair response, but he also supported the staff and said, “Madam, this is our actual menu. You must be mistaken.”
To clear the confusion, I suggested checking the CCTV footage, since it could easily reveal the truth. But surprisingly, the manager flatly refused to show the camera recording and simply said, “Pay the bill and leave.”
Now tell me honestly if the hotel staff were truly innocent and transparent, why would they refuse to check the CCTV footage?

@TheBigGeek @airtelindia Airtel Jio and a host of others
All are ditto same
The contempt for the customer stands out
No point in spending time on this
They are oligarchy duopoly ... they will be like this only
English

Hey @airtelindia I know customers are expected to be patient, but is this really how your field reps are supposed to speak to people?
Your technician arrived, checked the connection status only from the internal portal, didn’t test the actual link, asked me for a laptop because he didn’t have one, and then started arguing when I explained the difference between Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
The conversation eventually went from troubleshooting to:
“Tu apne aapko expert samjhta hai?”
followed by:
“Meri t-shirt dekh.”
Is this seriously the level of professionalism Airtel considers acceptable customer support?

@thegtaassassin @kiwitalkz I wonder though will people buy games? Or just pirate them?
English

That's awesome. For anyone who wants to know, India is currently a PlayStation nation. With 80-90% of console gamers using a PS. Xbox has stopped selling their new consoles after 2024-ish. We can only get second hand units that are in circulation. Valve doesn't sell their products officially. And Nintendo doesn't either, but still there are people who would buy it from gray market. I heard they sold about a 100k Switch few years ago, not sure about the latest number. But bringing Nintendo in India would be a great move. People have grown playing Mario, so nostalgia will definitely have a play.
English

Nintendo are FINALLY releasing the Switch 1 in India, it's about damn time, cutting out 1.4 billion people from accessing your console is stupid.
All my friends in India illegally pirate Nintendo games on their PCs' because they literally have no other option.
Nintendo has relied way too heavily on Japan and the U.S. for the bulk of its software and hardware sales for far too long and needs to look at other markets.
PlayStation is the dominant gaming brand globally because Sony sells the console in most markets and they have been very aggressive about it.
