Sadly it falls to me to confirm what you know already. After 45 years, @eucommscotland will close on 31 Jan 2020. The UK will no longer be an EU Member State & will become a 3rd country. EU/UK bilateral relations will conducted from our new EU Embassy in London led by Ambassador

In 10 days #UK leaves #EU. Delighted @EUCommScotland to be joined on our final trip to #Brussels by 15 leading #Scottish journalists. Always been a pleasure to deal with. Be in it dispensing praise or criticism of EU policy, Scottish media always provides balanced coverage. Thanks

By anyone’s estimation a significant part played by what is after all a small country on the European stage. For the time being Scotland’s EU journey is coming to an end. For the future, who knows? 5/6

So the end is nigh and it won’t be long before the EU flag is taken down for the last time and the door of the EC Representation in Scotland will finally close, marking an end to the presence of the European Commission in Scotland that has stretched over 44 years. 1/6
