Renovating this old Inglenook fireplace yesterday. Once cleaned by grit blasting (sensibly) we discovered someone had thoughtfully chased-out a channel for a mains cable at some stage in the past.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 @DarrenMcLean_uk

@EledaReeth @Sharpr1966 I've had duck and turkey eggs locally in Northants and apart from the weight haven't noticed much of a difference between them and hens eggs.

A great winter for ducks. While hens hide in their sheds the ducks have been out foraging in driving sleet. Layed every day Seems to be prejudice and false narratives around their eggs, which is frustrating. I sell at same price and twice the weight (85g). Lots of funny faces!

@Sharpr1966 I did just check your box this afternoon as I was passing and added an empty box to the pile but wasn’t lucky enough to find any full boxes. Another time.

@EledaReeth You wouldn’t know in most things. Scrambled eggs maybe taste slightly richer. The white has a different texture in fried or poached perhaps.
