@bbcpress @BBCiPlayer Really enjoyed this. For those who agree try Leonard and Hungry Paul as well. Not sure why there was such limited advertising for both programmes.

@bbcpress @ArtyBagger @BBCiPlayer It's a nice, feel-good thing. Definitely worth a watch if you're not looking for anything too challenging. And always good to see Michael Palin.

@ArtyBagger Hi Muriel. A friend of mine says Kenny Ball and his Jazz Men played at the Loreburn Hall AKA Drill Hall in Dumfries in the early sixties. Her Mum and Dad took her to see them as she was just a young girl at the time. Hope this helps 😊

@ArtyBagger Well, they’re right aren’t they?
(Or, alternatively, *evolution* is right because, if you didn’t save them each year, it’d soon stop. Like the “Heike” crabs in Japan, that have evolved to look more & more like samurai masks, as superstitious fishermen throw them back)

@ArtyBagger @euanmccolm Are you looking for your birth father? 🤔

@ArtyBagger I just googled Kenny Ball gigs in Dumfries in the ‘60s

This was magnificent. And whether you agree or not ,it begs the question, should those rude colleagues, ignoring the speech by scrolling phones even been allowed in the chamber? What has happened to debate?

This from @Geoffrey_Cox was titanic - a truly beautiful speech. He outshone those sat opposite. They could only watch. And nervously laugh. This should be seen by every new MP to understand what they do, & every new barrister to understand what we do.

@allandm1284 This is actually incredibly interesting. Genuinely. But doesn’t help my quest. However, I cherish it. X
