@JC_Cathie @ms_dzt @mrpeterfellows @caitlinlamour Check in with them. Sometimes a good vent is helpful and they feel heard and less alone. If they need a break, give them one, even if it's just a stretch. Special guest appearances from a small child are also a winner but I'm not sure where you'd find one on loan in lockdown...

@BiancaH80 NSW History and Geography teacher - use specific examples, explain the significance of those examples in relation to the question, explain rather than describe. They'd be my big three across years 7-12

When you give feedback to students on their writing, what are some comments you seem to make repeatedly? For example ‘Unclear’, ‘More detail needed’, ‘Work on your vocabulary’... or the much loved ‘???!’.

@caitlinlamour @JC_Cathie @StCatherinesSyd So glad the PD provided fuel for such great thought! Differentiation and cross-curriculum teaching could be a worthwhile presentation at the upcoming TeachChat PD? Great opportunity for other teachers to consider differentiation as a new lens through which to look at programs.
