So we thought we would sign an MOU with a terror regime, sideline our best ally in the region while agreeing for Israel to pull out of Lebanon on their behalf (but without them being at the table), and expect them to take marching orders from us, leaving their citizens exposed to Hezbollah rockets? And now we are surprised when Israel remained in Lebanon to protect their civilians and Switzerland was cancelled by Iran because Israel won’t comply and it’s collapsing before it even started? LOL. This is Damascus, the capital of my country.
Israel bombed it less than a year ago, despite the fact that not a single shot had been fired at Israel from Syria for over 60 years.
This had nothing to do with Iran, Hezbollah, or Hamas. It was part of Israel’s efforts to interfere in the country’s internal affairs and keep it divided and weak.
So when Israelis claim that Israel does not attack those who do not attack it, Damascus proves otherwise.

I made the mistake (again) of watching @CNN today. I feel for Americans tuning in to CNN sincerely trying to understand what is happening in the Middle East. CNN hosts and a guest "expert" mourned Hezbollah's killing of four Israeli soldiers as a violation of the ceasefire and an act of terrorism. You would have thought that Hezbollah carried out an unprovoked attack on Israeli territory. It was as if the CNN panel didn't know, or didn't care, that when these Israeli soldiers were targeted they were inside of Lebanon and actively continuing an invasion of that country, advancing toward a key hilltop position, in clear violation of article 1 of the MOU. Dear Lord.
