@SMMcMinimee I kinda wonder if this is almost like the last round of NASCOURT, how long can dirty laundry be aired before you tap out and make a deal. If Spire keeps airing the story of JGR mismanagement and toxicity do they eventually just want it to stop and make a deal.

If anything making this argument highlights that Spire understood that they could work with Gabehart and JGR to negotiate a release/buyout and that did not happen.

This is a weird argument to me. An “understanding” between Spire and JGR would not have an impact on the legal obligations between JGR and Gabehart or Spire and Robert Smith. This isn’t like stick and ball sports where players are unionized and teams can make trades. The employee would still need to be released from their contract, even if a third-party steps in and negotiates getting that release in exchange for money (ie buying out a contract). #nascourt

One thing that needs to happen for @GatewayDirt is a list of courtesy rules! Like going back to your seat or leaving your seat during racing! There’s lots of places to stop and watch and wait for a caution. That’s my vent!

Petition to change the big screens inside the dome to just display sponsors during green flag. So many times the big screen changes the outcome of a race. We seen it at Chili Bowl for so many years and the Dome has been no different. It’s so easy for us to watch the screen every straightaway. Fans inside the building aren’t watching the screen during green. If they are it’s because they are too drunk to watch the car go around the track and they might fall over. I talked to Cody about it last night. I knew it wasn’t something that could change over night but I feel like in the future it’s something to work towards. Don’t take this tweet as I am bitching. I just want to see the best possible product inside the dome for the fans.
