@Oliver___Brett @Graarm @BritAthletics In rugby and Coventry this is something we’re trying to work towards through @CitroenUK . We do a good job with the local school championships and have a growing club, my issue is that it’s hard for me to inspire people to get into it when I get no financial support myself.

@Graarm @BritAthletics To be honest, I think it starts at grass roots level. I have had 5 children and not one was offered a chance to even try athletics seriously. We live close to some major clubs etc but there is not nearly enough marketing or people going into schools etc

Big achievement for British-based Saint Lucian 400m runner Marvric Pamphile who makes the final of the 400m at the NACAC Championships with a PB of 46.06s (4th-AT 🇱🇨)
Pamphile serves in the British Army and was on deployment in Cyprus as recently as May!

Good to see 400m hurdler josh faulds back in action in his first race in 6 weeks with 49.44 for second today in Madrid.. one of five Brits under 49 secs in 2025 with a best of 48.59.
