@NemoGoMeow @CWLemoine Most likely they weren't told they were going to be there. That's usually what happens when there's blue on blue. Someone didn't update someone. It's a sad thing but it happens.

@CWLemoine The 104-0 marks the F-15's combat record in air to air. We've had F-15E's shot down during desert storm, it's just concerning the Kuwaitis can't fucking tell friend from foe.

@NemoGoMeow @CWLemoine They were trained by the USAF. USAF has killed more Americans through air to air and air to ground engagements than any other force in the last 50 years.

After throwing himself onto a Taliban grenade in Afghanistan to protect a fellow Marine, Kyle Carpenter was initially pronounced dead. He survived against overwhelming odds, enduring more than 40 surgeries and a grueling three-year recovery to rebuild his body. His actions and survival later made him the youngest living recipient of the Medal of Honor, marking a powerful example of self-sacrifice and the bond of service. 🇺🇸

For $0.20 a day, you can help smuggle frightened F-14s out of Iran and into the arms of a loving family...🥺😞

@BaronDestructo Garibali he was flawed in so many ways but always came through when it mattered. Worf was great and grew but Garibaldi had to deal with addiction and brainwashing.

@SuperSisi It'll probably have Easy Anticheat and you won't be able to play it on Jeff Bezos's rental gaming Virtual Machines. What a conundrum.

You didn't get my question for some reason. I know why they don't use for USAF. It's why I mentioned several times they don't have the gear for it. My question is why on some USN runways they don't use it for carrier practice. As a USN pilot you should have gotten that from this whole conversation. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and actually get information from you but you somehow jumped to a topic I know well being on USAF bases myself and having this explained by USAF air crews and pilots for years. Now this makes me wonder if you actually know what you're talking about since that question wasn't vague. I even explained why USAF uses it in the previous comment. Why did you think I was referring to USAF when the obvious conversation has been about practicing carrier landing with the USN? My question was why the USN doesn't use carrier grade A-gear for practice before carrier landing qualifications on a carrier.

@FedCom_Security @Michael92931737 @SGTWipper1Each It would unnecessarily stress the airframes, and would make it impossible for AF aircraft to use. Field gear is just two big brake drums, no connected power. It has to be reset manually with a crank, takes many minutes between uses, even if the ground crew is well trained.

@FedCom_Security @Madjidmetal @SGTWipper1Each Buddy I fly the 737. I stated the rudder doesn’t do shit on the ground. And in this instance the RUDDER would do nothing but make the A/C uncoordinated once released. Now in a normal takeoff sequence yes the rudder is a big deal.

@faizannriaz Kuwait shot them down too, not Iran. The F15s were in friendly territory which is why they weren't ready for it too. Shot down by Patriot missiles.

The question wasn't about requirement. The statement this guy made at first was that a rudder has no effect while on the ground. Not that it is required for take off. His statement was "rudder don't do shit on the ground" which is not true. It depends on certain factors yes but it's not completely correct either.
