@jufujimaru Taxation is violence. It is enforced with prison and a man with a gun to bring you there. There are ways to fund d government without income taxes or property taxes. There can be tariffs, which you can choose to buy domestically usage fees which you choose to use or not,

Physical space aside, in our hypothetical here, I assume Americans would be more open to having representatives added for the new territory rather than have their own representatives redistributed to accommodate the new Japanese population. I can’t imagine politicians trying to sell citizens on losing their representatives outright.

アメリカ人はアメリカが他の国の人に嫌われてるかもと心配してるのを知って結構驚いた。。。SNSではちょっと本音が見える。職場や大学では全くそんな感じがないのに。イギリスや欧州大陸の人より自国のイメージを気にしている気がする。

@ruri_ruri_888 I dont think American men care much about the education of their partner. Not that they want them dumb, thats a turn off, but education level isnt really a factor. Actually if they have alot of schooling and plan to be a house wife their debt can be expensive and a hinderance

@ruri_ruri_888 To the relationship. But if they have schooling and plan on using it to work during the relationship, the added income can be quite a benefit. But at the end of the day its not an education level but a natural intelligence and ability to use that intelligence thats more important
