If you just take a step back for a moment, it’s immediately obvious how silly and unbelievable the established scientific orthodoxy of recent decades has been on this. Natural selection has produced clear, measurable, geographically determined, group-level differences between human subpopulations in everything from complexion to height to skeletal structure to muscle composition to fat distribution and countless other traits, but this entire process magically left everything related to cognition completely uniform and undifferentiated, despite its being the most central and defining trait of humans that separates them from animals and enables their survival, thus more subject to selective pressure than any other. Your ancestors’ skin and eyes and hair and bones and heart and gut and every other part of them has at some point in the last 50,000 years conferred some kind of reproductive advantage, but never ever ever ever ever ever the brain, for anyone, anywhere. Sure, it only takes ~9 generations to breed measurable intelligence differences in mice, but several thousand generations of humans just isn’t enough, for some reason. Sure, many subpopulations recently lived in isolation from each other for tens of thousands of years, which is more than enough time for significant differential adaptation to take place, but we are certain that it didn’t in this one specific critical area. It’s pure magical thinking. That it defies common sense would be an understatement; if it were true it would be miraculous, inexplicable. But it isn’t of course, and in a generation or so when the blank slate is finally dead and buried, people will look back and wonder how so many convinced themselves of this for so long
