The Israeli military says 11 trucks of humanitarian aid were delivered to northern Gaza's Jabalia and Beit Hanoun on Thursday, where several thousand Palestinians are estimated to still be.
The IDF says it has been working to evacuate the civilian population from towns north of Gaza City, in order to operate against Hamas there without harming innocents. Several hundred are estimated to remain in Jabalia, and several thousands more in other towns in the area.
In a joint statement, the IDF and the Defense Ministry's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) say that the 11 trucks of food, water, and medical equipment were delivered to distribution centers for the remaining population in Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, "in accordance with a directive of the political echelon, and as part of the commitment to transfer humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip."
Additional aid is entering other areas of northern Gaza, including Gaza City. COGAT says that since the beginning of October, 713 aid trucks entered northern Gaza via the Erez West Crossing.

A group of Israeli settlers assaulted two female IDF soldiers near the West Bank settlement of Givat Asaf earlier today, the military says.
The IDF says the soldiers were treated at the scene, and the assailants fled.
"The IDF condemns all violence against its soldiers and will continue to work to maintain order in Judea and Samaria," the military adds.
In the same area today, a group of Jewish extremists attempted to burn olive trees in the village of Burqa.
Palestinians in the area threw rocks at the assailants, lightly injuring two of them, according to medics and security sources.

The new Egyptian Arafat who is determined to make Gaza children pay for his anti Jewish stance.
On one hand he is validating an armed resistance of terrorist gangs who have violated every war protocol against their enemies and their own society, on the other hand he complains about the loss of innocent life.
This self appointed joker is not the first or the last Egyptian con artist who made name and wealth out of Gaza tragedy.

Two Israeli soldiers were killed during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip earlier today, the IDF announces.
The slain troops are named as:
Staff Sgt. Itay Parizat, 20, from Petah Tikva.
Staff Sgt. Yair Hananya, 22, from Mitzpe Netofa.
Both served with the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion.
Another soldier was seriously wounded in the same incident, the IDF says.
The military is still probing the deadly incident.

In 2023, a French court sentenced him to life in prison. While he's here in Canada waiting for potential extradition to France - @Carleton_U in Ottawa thought it was a good idea to offer him a teaching job.

Mulling over my visit to Gaza today but one thing really struck me from conversations with the IDF frontline soldiers I met.
Almost all of them expressed sadness at the “tragedy” (their words, not mine) unfolding in Gaza. None of them said they want to have to do the job they’ve been given, but they all understand that it needs doing and they were stepping up to secure their country.
Many of them expressed huge sympathy for the Palestinian civilians caught between them and Hamas. But, as one said, “It’s a war”. (And literally every possible metric suggests they’re doing a good job at protecting the lives of those Palestinian civilians. They’re proud of how few have died compared to the number of Hamas fighters killed - that unprecedented 1:1 ratio means a lot to them.)
Their attitude was regretful but determined. Notably, not one expressed any desire for revenge or any hatred. They could not have been further from the vengeful maniacs portrayed by those who take their news only from social media.
Were they perfect? No. Were they obviously reservists? Honestly, yes. But they were young men and women doing their job with a quiet determination.
(And, before anyone says it, this was the least stage-managed and most chaotic visit I’ve ever seen. Our small team of three were the only ones on the trip, and it was a super-fastball only confirmed late this morning. It occurred whilst a major manoeuvre op was going on. They literally had to trawl the camp for English speakers to talk to us at zero notice. Half the troops we spoke to obviously had no idea who we were and didn’t expect to see us there.)

During a tour of southern Lebanon earlier today, an army vehicle with the chief of the IDF Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, and chief of the Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, overturned.
Gordin was slightly hurt in the incident, and after a brief visit to a hospital, returned to work, the IDF says.

The IDF says it has wrapped up a day-long raid in the West Bank's Nur Shams camp near Tulkarem, during which three gunmen were killed in an airstrike and in clashes with troops.
The operation was carried out by the Kfir Brigade's Haruv reconnaissance unit, alongside Border Police and Shin Bet forces.
Amid the raid, a drone strike was carried out against two gunmen who were shooting at the troops, the army says, publishing footage of the incident.
Also amid the operation, Haruv soldiers killed another operative who "posed a threat" and wounded several other gunmen in clashes, the IDF says.
Several explosive devices planted under and along roads in Nur Shams were neutralized by Border Police officers and combat engineers during the operation.
The IDF also releases drone footage showing gunmen operating at the entrance to a hospital in Tulkarem. The video shows one gunman handing over an assault rifle to another at the medical center compound.

Muslims get offended when challenged over the crimes they have been committing against humanity for 14 centuries.
If I to say for example:
“All Muslims are doomed to hell with no exception”, many of you would think that my statement is very offensive and awful.
But why it is NOT awful when Muslims condemn all non Muslims to hell with no exceptions?
Muslims apparently “believe” that dehumanizing , suppressing , subjugating, and enslaving the rest of humanity would lead eventually to one Islamic peaceful world!! Not realizing if they achieve their goal they would kill each other. The same way they did in the past.
Westerners who rush to defend Muslims blindly instead of challenging their narrow view of life are the type of hypocrites who agree to be enslaved by others for acceptance.
What westerners need to understand that Muslims will always have an angry cause, “Palestine”, Bangladesh, Kashmir, Afghanistan, or Andalusia! And they will always be victims, entitled for the compassion of others, but when the others disagree with them they would show no mercy.
Not all Muslims are necessarily evil, but the vast majority are delusional in slavery and total submission to hypothesis.
Muslims should not feel offended when they are judged the same way they judge others. They have never been the children of Islam, they are the children of the Universe.
