A child wetting the bed is a normal childhood issue. Heating a knife and burning a 5-year-old over it is pure wickedness.
The problem is not that she was a stepmother, the problem is that she was cruel.

I heard a story on the radio this afternoon. A stepmother heated a knife and pressed it against a 5‑year‑old child simply because she wet the bed at night. According to the reporter, the father, who is not around much, had bought a waterproof mat for the child because he knew she often wet the bed. But the stepmother still had the nerve to heat a knife and place it on the girl’s thigh, close to her private area. The girl ran to her uncle’s house, who lives nearby. That was when the uncle involved the police, and the stepmother was arrested. Some stepmothers are always so cruel to their stepchildren, especially if the child’s mother has passed away. That is why most men don’t like to marry again.
