📍 Site Update: Thubelihle Intermediate School, Jabavu (Soweto) The A-Team conducted a site inspection on 29 April 2026, with the project now at 93% completion. While major works on the admin extension, classrooms, and ablutions are nearing completion, progress is affected by delays in site instructions, and the project exceeding its February deadline. Outstanding work includes blinds installation, flooring, and final electrical and plumbing at the science lab. A recommendation has been made for DID professionals to step in and fast-track completion. The team continues working to ensure a safe and functional learning environment for the school. #TacklingG13 #GrowingGautengTogether

Site inspection at Laerskool Generaal Nicolaas Smit, Hercules. The A-Team visited the school to monitor progress on ongoing renovations aimed at improving the learning environment. Learners are back in completed classrooms and teaching continues. 🏫 While good progress has been made in some areas, overall progress remains slower than expected. The contractor has been instructed to increase capacity on site and enforce daily health & safety compliance. ⚠️ Outstanding work includes key installations, compliance certificates, and completion of remaining blocks and the main hall. The visit ensures challenges are addressed and quality, safe infrastructure is delivered for learners and educators. 👷‍♂️ #TacklingG13 #GrowingGautengTogether

Overall, Simunye Sec project is at an advanced stage, with most structural work complete. However, critical services (water, ICT, and specialized rooms) and final finishes must be completed before the school can be fully operational. #TacklingG13 #GrowingGautengTogether

Simunye Sec School is one of the priority projects earmarked for completion this year. Our main focus is to prioritize the construction of classroom spaces first. Additional facilities will follow, but our immediate goal is to ensure that learners benefit as soon as possible. This remains our mission — to make sure that learners are accommodated in proper classrooms, even before the entire project is fully completed. #TacklingG13 #GrowingGautengTogether
