No. It was a fragmented bullet, not a fragment of a bullet. That’s completely different. You didn’t read the motion by the defense, which actually quotes from the ATF report. It doesn’t say that the bullet didn’t come from the rifle. This is all it says: In this filing, defense attorneys quote a key snippet from the ATF summary they received: the ATF was “unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr. Robinson.” They note they have not yet received the full ATF case file/protocols and mention ongoing FBI supplemental testing (second comparative analysis and bullet-lead composition).
