Alright #AcademicTwitter whats this culture of individuals fronting large organizations money ?! Everything from broke #phd students paying thousands to attend conferences-to profs being expected to front >3k for a 100 person networking event for months. Not inclusive

Got a common chem (formalin) delivered to a student who graduated a year+ ago. Guess it was backordered... I don't feel like paying... Would you? Spent hours confirming there was no nefarious activity. Apparently sometimes used in illicit drugs #todayIlearned 🙄

@martacecchinato @Momademia It's so tough, but good for them to see you with a thriving career. I text pictures of where I am and his dad explains about them. I canceled a trip a few months back because I was sick and he (4yo) demanded I leave because he wanted pictures of boats

Absolutely! What are some better inclusive items? I have skeleton shoes and some sciency jewelry. As a sorority alumna I understand a t-shirt for every event lol. But what are some more professional items? Pins? Multiple options with the theme?

Lol I did this exact demo earlier this term as an example. Shoed against same search term in bing images (similar biases). Then had students prompt AI to generate image of their choosing and discuss the biases. Didn't have to look far. #AI #bias
