I think the point of only intubating for an airway problem in A is the key. Intubating for altered GCS is not A. It is D, which is after C. 🤷♀️
Also, hard to tease out if these patients died because they were more sick or if they died because of airway intervention

Not sure how much the reusable appliers cost

Cholecystectomy aficionados, anyone regularly use hem-o-lok clips? We have the packets and the reusable clip applicator. Seems cost effective. Have heard it’s more secure than standard clips. Would love to learn about experiences, pearls, pitfalls… #safechole

They are my preferred way to secure the cystic duct and artery. The appliers are reusable, only need to open 6-clip pack of the approp size. They lock, so need a special instrument to remove. They don't slide up/down well so need a bit more duct length
