@bigrandysnuts @Elistay1k D3 athletes likely aren't making a commitment, which serves as an agreement to attend and play for big programs which will spend a scholarship, make room in lockers, arrange dorm living and just overall plan on their talent. D3 doesn't really need to let anyone know 😂

Individuals who make Pride Night about themselves are exactly why these events are held. The existence of LGBTQ+ people should not be a matter of opinion or morality. They are human beings and deserve to be treated with respect.

UPDATE: At least 4 San Francisco Giants players protested Pride Night on Friday vs Chicago 1. Starting pitcher Landen Roupp wrote Genesis 9:12-16 on his Pride hat 2. Reliever Sam Hentges refused to wear the Pride hat (just like Blake Treinen) 3. Reliever JT Brubaker wrote Genesis 9:13-15 on his Pride hat 4. Reliever Ryan Walker wrote a message on the side of his Pride hat was unreadable on the broadcast *I couldn't tell on the broadcast if outspoken Christian Robbie Ray protested as well Well done, gentlemen. You've set a great example for other Christian athletes 👏

I don’t really care if guys wanna write bible verses on their hats, nothing wrong with that, but most guys aren’t writing it on their hat every game. It’s only when it’s the pride hat. And that’s when it goes from being religious to being hateful, and then they play dumb about it

I like Roupp as a player and think he’ll be a good Giant, but I lose so much respect for guys when they do this shtick, and then postgame they say oh it has nothing to do with pride night. If you’re going to push back on the Pride logo, have the stones to stand on it when asked.

The average suicide rate per capita in the United States for homosexual people is double those that identify as straight. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but the last thing someone should do is make someone else feel alone in a very polarized world. Shame on Roupp.
