@monkieboy99 It's a numbers game. Rejection hurts, especially with love. Maybe that's why so many gays avoid love and instead go for sex only. But going back to the numbers game, just keep on trying. The odds may be slim (and I know what you're looking for), but they are 0 if you don't try.

I think one of the biggest issues holding gay men back is not rejection itself- but the inability to process it. A simple “I’m not interested,” or even a business saying they’re not comfortable making a cake, can suddenly feel like, “The world is rejecting me for who I am.” For me, it was my parents rejecting me all over again. But healing began for me when I stopped trying to outrun rejection- stopped retaliating, proving, chasing, and numbing. I learned to sit quietly with the part of me that felt unwanted.
