If you want to know how disciplined your mind really is don't look at your waking life look at your dreams, the dreams don't lie, if your dreams are chaos your mind is chaos, if your dreams are beautiful and move in order then something inside you has learned to govern itself even while sleeping, most people's dreams are garbage because most people's minds are unattended rooms where anything walks in and sits down. a man who has mastered his thoughts dreams like a prophet, his sleep is architecture

It's A Wonderful Life director Frank Capra blasted Hollywood for its moral decline:
"The winds of change blew through the dream factories of make-believe, tore at its crinoline tatters … The hedonists, the homosexuals, the hemophiliac bleeding hearts, the God-haters, the quick-buck artists who substituted shock for talent, all cried: Shake ’em! Rattle ’em! God is dead. Long live pleasure! Nudity? Yea! Wife-swapping? Yea! Liberate the world from prudery. Emancipate our films from morality!’ … Kill for thrill—shock! Shock! To hell with the good in man, Dredge up his evil—shock! Shock!
Practically all the Hollywood film-making of today is stooping to cheap salacious pornography in a crazy bastardization of a great art to compete for the 'patronage' of deviates and masturbators."
What do you think he would say about the Hollywood of today?

The Holy Spirit works within man, and in the Holy Spirit he sees his inner disorder and the passions within him. Just as X-rays pass through a person’s body and reveal its internal condition and the illness hidden from human sight, so to a much greater degree the grace of the Holy Triune God enters into man’s being and reveals his destitution and spiritual poverty, and he begins to repent. In this state he becomes aware of the sin that he has committed and is overwhelmed by unrestrained repentance, an unquenchable hatred for sin and an impulse to return to God and commune with Him. This constitutes what is called the charismatic way of life. Man feels the energy of the Holy Spirit within him, and this gives him spiritual inspiration, spiritual delight, intense yearning for God and a longing to encounter Him.

“It is hypocrisy that ends up being the most offensive behavior, when it comes to matters of Faith and religion. You can forgive the sinner for their falls and failings, but it feels much harder to tolerate the person who pretends to be righteous and good, and acts with injustice and evil intent.
When the Lord “called out” these religious leaders of the community, it was not to condemn them, nor to judge them. The Lord, Who is the Most Just Judge of the Universe judges no one. The judgment is brought upon us by our own actions, words, and thoughts.
That is why His very first words from the Cross were: “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” His Eminence Archbishop @Elpidophoros of America

Part ways. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you let them in your life it just means you don’t feel they owe you anything. The books are clean. If you don’t do that the anger starts eating away at you

@OwenBenjamin Serious question…. Do you continue to forgive people that constantly lie? Or do you part ways? Or both?

“Christianity has died many times and risen again; for it had a God who knew the way out of the grave.” - G. K. Chesterton.
The one who sustains the Christian faith is the very being responsible for all of creation. Good luck to those who want to exterminate it from the world.

The way the world is shifting, I question whether Christianity will hold its ground over the next half century.

These photos are for all those people that told me to “touch grass” over the years.
I did one better; I actually grew this grass in my backyard. About a month ago I started planting seeds; it was a mud pit then. Growing grass has been one of the most calming, normal things I’ve done. I even bought an old-fashioned push mower. Touching grass = highly recommended!
