Which is a mitigating circumstance. Since then he’s been a shadow of his former self, and when he shows flashes of that once level it never lasts.

No need one time is enough for some of us to understand what his saying. But you go ahead and keep being a sheep lacking any critical thinking for yourself. It’s simple it’s not one or the other you can be strong and also be a brain such as Kompany, JT the list goes on, his puting Lacroix in a box as though his old school basic physical defender in the Championship but that’s not true and he progresses the ball well. Just because Rudigar is fast and aggressive doesn’t mean he doesn’t use his brain or progress the ball well.

So old school defenders like JT, or Kompany didn’t use their brain. Mate what you on about. You can be aggressive and fast defender and also be able to use your brain, if your just a better player you know how to use everything because your complete. Lac plays in the middle for palace and uses his brain to support his team win trophies and at the same time is aggressive and fast defender, you can be both not one or the other

Not saying Lacroix is not good. But his game is more like an aggressive, front foot marker and presser. Quick reaction and throws his body at everything. That's Gabriel. Saliba is more of a ball-playing centre-back that progresses the ball and defends more with his head than his body. He's strong is 1v1 duels though but he doesn't base his game on aggression. Between the two, Maxence Lacroix is closer to Gabriel's attributes than Saliba's. And of course, Gabriel is Arsenal’s best CB not Saliba. Arguably the best defender in the Premier League. Gabriel is old-school to the tee. That's how I view Lacroix.

As I continue to say, Morgan Rogers is very likely to be an Arsenal player. That’s what he wants, he’s agreed to it, and he’s waiting for the clubs to agree on a deal. But still, Chelsea have him as their no. 1 target. I suppose what we’re hoping for is that Arsenal - if having trouble on a price with Villa - turn their attention to a Álvarez, Barcola, Paz and/or others. With that said, I don’t see Rogers in anything other than an Arsenal shirt next season. Let’s see…

Maxence Lacroix looks like Saliba, and some people automatically think he plays like Saliba. Not even close. He's closer to Gabriel than Saliba, stylistically.

His actually closer to Rudigar, with his mobility and aggressive style defending. And ability to beat a press with his good feet, and also find a long range pass to beat a press. Saliba and Gabriel and more heavy in their feet and strong style wise, Lac is more agile and mobile hence his incredible speed

Yeah but we still do need to create a squad. Garnacho, Neto and Gittens will be back up to palmer and Estavao in the two 10 roles in the 343 and Neto will proof a shift left wing back at times so it makes sense. We don’t need to waste money on an attacker we already have Palmer and Estavao occupying those positions. So this transfer window is about building that solid base through the team in the defence and central midfield area,m. Our problem hasn’t been our attack it’s been how solid we can be under pressure

Yes of course but his thoughts are coming from a place of hurt because he got the transfer wrong and is feeling it. It’s not coming from a place of being objective and properly analysing the player which creates a false narrative that other fans will believe. His take on this post is completely wrong for a reason Lac is a complete defender that’s good at all aspects of the game and something we desperately need to relegate him to only being a ox defender is criminal because his what we’ve needed to be able to play a high line his the faster defender in the league but instead he went to try and force a negative and that’s all because his hurt

Lacroix is an out-and-out defender, like an old-school CB. As long as we don't task him with progressing the ball frequently, he will make a good partner for Colwill. If he plays in the middle of Colwill and Reece, those two will likely be the progressors. I just like his feel for defending. We have lacked a natural defender, someone who loves to get his body dirty and fight for every ball.

Two things are correct here. Bun BlueCo for their ineptitude of the team since taking over Chelsea. But if 2 of our leaders have had long term dreams of playing in Spain they clearly shouldn’t be leading. A bit of a reset is needed. If you don’t want to be here. Be gone.
