Biased or not if they loved the experience they loved the experience? The city was electric. International media all raved about it, fans from abroad extremely happy and everyone in the country loved it going on. All set to untypical sunny skies. To balance argument, there was an issue with pub opening times on the Sunday and Skylar Thompson incident.

@Johnny_Baillie @HoganNFL @tweetsfromben I think this is the thing. If you had a great time that’s awesome. Most fans of the teams that played and Irish people will think it was the best event of all time. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t, but likely to be bias influencing feelings

I don't understand the shock that Dublin isn't in 2026 list. All the noises last season indicated it wouldn't be annual. Plus the cities and countries on this list are much bigger. Metro population of say Paris, Madrid, Melbourne etc are bigger than the whole of Ireland sadly
Ben Isaacs@tweetsfromben

Great locations and you can see the path to 16 international games after the next collective bargaining agreement/move to 18 games. Safe to assume Japan, South Korea and Middle East will soon get games. Have we reached peak European involvement? Could Italy join the club? #nfluk

@tweetsfromben Just like there's a game in France because Saints made it happen. People are responding emotionally and you're acting like that's the only reaction. NFL knew from the college games - you promoted - that Ireland was great destination so I don't agree it was "incredible"

@HoganNFL I’ve found the reaction bizarre. It was incredible Dublin got one in the first place and was down to one organisation pushing it. Of course Australia, France and Spain etc will be more of a priority. Dublin 2025 was great but surely no one in the know thought it’d be back in 2026

Everything you need to know ahead of a historic week for Pro Football Ireland in San Francisco for Super Bowl LX, which culminates in the first Irish led Super Bowl production since the 1990's and first in-stadium Irish production ever from Virgin Media: PRO FOOTBALL IRELAND SET FOR SUPER BOWL LX, BIGGEST WEEK OF COVERAGE TO DATE January 30th, 2026 SANTA CLARA, CA - After a historic year for the NFL across the island of Ireland, the eyes of the league is firmly on Super Bowl LX in California, which takes place on Sunday, February 8th between the AFC Champion New England Patriots and NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks. Pro Football Ireland will be on site in the Bay Area for the duration of the week, with an unprecedented level of coverage. For the third consecutive year, Pro Football Ireland will emanate from Super Bowl Media Row at the Moscone Center in central San Francisco, with both live and pre recorded content available throughout the week. Pro Football Ireland’s team will cover and analyse NFL Opening Night from San Jose, the newly changed NFL Pro Bowl Games and NFL Honors throughout a packed week, with expert coverage presented by Pro Football Ireland’s principal partner, @sbk. On top of this, we wish the very best to Virgin Media Television, who will carry Super Bowl LX on Irish television - making it the first ever in-stadium broadcast from an Irish outlet and the first Irish broadcasting of a Super Bowl since the early 1990’s. Pro Football Ireland’s Michael McQuaid will be joined by Jeff Reinebold in Levi’s Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday, with an additional crew back in Dublin to report throughout the game, which is live and free on Virgin Media One. Pro Football Ireland’s Michael McQuaid: “We take pride in not only the work that we produce, but the position that we find ourselves in after under five years in the marketplace in Ireland. Our output at Super Bowl LX reflects a changing dynamic post NFL Dublin Game and our sole focus is to bring the game closer to an Irish cohort of fans throughout Super Bowl week in California. It has been a historic season, where PFI has continued to cement itself as the market leader in Ireland for American Football. Just last week, we hosted three live events across the island of Ireland, with nine events taking place since August alone.” “We have also provided fans with coverage from every NFL International game, including PFI talent serving as the lead analysts on Virgin Media Television, to attendance and work at events that include the NFL Scouting Combine, the NFL Draft, the College Football National Championship and namely our partners in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. We believe that we offer something that is fan centric and accessible for everyone - and we can’t wait to get to California.” Pro Football Ireland’s Mark Hogan “We can’t wait to turn Super Bowl Sunday into Super Bowl Week once again for Irish football fans, with wall-to-wall coverage anchored from San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center. It gives us great pride to be Ireland’s most established outlet on Radio Row, as we take up residence for our third straight year - and once again, we’ve gone all out to raise the bar.” “Expect daily podcasts covering every facet of the game, with current and former players dropping by, alongside some of the most respected voices in football and media. The lads will bring the craic in a way only they can, while bringing fans as close to the action as it’s possible to be from home.
