For over a year all our requests for an #IKEA #HomeSmart statement from support@hueessentials.com to e.g. legal.affairs@inter.ikea.com that they allow us to control their #Trådfri hardware remain unanswered.

@fabnapp Thank you for pointing out. We have not investigated this yet. Philips Hue told us about this in the past but it kept working. It may stop it now. If you set it to auto update in Hue app, you are good anyway.

@twente_rj Hue Essentials is still compatible with the Hue bridge v1. It seems you did not enter a name for the automation which causes this error message. We will improve this in one of the next updates. Can you try entering a name for the automation?

@HueEssentials Was hoping I could use this app still with the bridge v1. Unfortunately it doesn’t work when adding an automation.

@HueEssentials @IKEANederland I agree they should answer! But I wish you would have a disclaimer that I can't add ikea bridge *before* we purchase a second bridge add-on. Useless for me now when I discovered that after buying 🤷🏼‍♀️
