@JoelJackson89 @talkSPORT Luke Edwards is Howe’s mouthpiece
English

As if Luke Edwards is on @talkSPORT making out Howes smashing it and defending him too stay, also mentions the lack of goals, but won't mention it's down to the wingers and manager to adapt the tactics, admit you and Eddie are mates, because the media delusion is unreal

I hope PIF and Howe agree an amicable parting of the ways and the search for a new head coach starts immediately after that. In reality I expect PIF to say he’s staying and “this summer will be transformative”. Except it won’t. Tonali, Gordon, Tino and one of the three strikers replaced by James Garner, Marcus Tavernier, Michael Kayode and Liam Delap.

🚨The meeting this week between PIF and club officials is probably bigger than the local media are portraying imo. #NUFC
Something big is gonna happen this week.
Thoughts?

Eddie Howe, yet again not even being considered for a big club

No excuses for Eddie now, Nick Woltemade has to be starting.
He has shown he can do it, he’s been our best player on multiple occasions and we look a better side with him in there! 🇩🇪✨

@CoachMeron @NickDryden1 Hall should come back in on Saturday. He’s England’s future LB ffs!
English

@toonarmy_com @talkSPORT With a 10 behind him, he can be decent. Him and Palmer had a decent link up. Just don’t get our pants pulled down on wages and fees and I’d take it
English

NICOLAS JACKSON: Apparently we are pushing to sign him permanently on a deal worth about €40m, what do you reckon?

@KrissNufc83 What odds on a 0-3 with Welbeck getting a brace and Minteh the other.

Go on stage at The Stand, Joe.

@LewisfknMiley Woltemade. Any manager other than Howe would get the best out of Big Nick. Wissa is a bigger waste of cash than Michael Owen.

@bagshaw2112 The visit to Ireland was just after he became Pope John Paul II so going for 1979.

@archivetvmus71 The slot between the end of Schools and Colleges and Play School was often filled by programmes in Welsh like soap Pobol Y Cwm which is still running on S4C. Clearly aimed at the Welsh-speaking community in Lloegr (England)
English

@beno_simmo500 @TheAthleticFC The PIF may as well have done a KLF and burned the £110m spent on Wissa and Elanga on the Town Moor.
English

@TheAthleticFC Don’t let him spend nearly £100m on “plug in and play” PL ready players. He can blame many things, but he’s responsible for wasting £50m each on Wissa and Elanga who will both go down as our worst ever signings #nufc

Eddie Howe will be asked to find more answers this coming week, when members of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Newcastle’s majority owners, travel to the north east for their annual meeting with the club’s departmental heads.
Howe will explain, from his point of view, why away from the cups, this season has been such a slog. He will talk about what they can learn from it and how they — and he — can improve. He will set out his agenda.
What happens next can only be opaque but everybody, Howe included, will have some sort of decision to make.
