Jimmy Kimmel tried to clean up his comments about Markwayne Mullin being a former plumber, but he tried to have it both ways. First he doubled down ignoring Mullin's management experience with his plumbing company "[Trump's] apple polishers are all in a tizzy because I made light of the fact that his new head of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, before he was a senator, was a plumber. And now he's the head of Homeland Security. Which is not necessarily the kind of resume you might hope for, for the person in charge of protecting us from terrorism" Later, he insists it has nothing to do with plumbers and is just about his ideas, "Let me make this very clear. I'm not upset that the head of Homeland Security used to be a plumber. I'm upset that he isn't still a plumber, okay?" Then why even mention the plumber aspect?

😦MUST WATCH: Anti American chants and speeches broke out at a “Hands Off Iran” protest in Philadelphia. A speaker claimed that everyone must stand in solidarity with the Islamic Regime of Iran because the Regime funds proxies who rely on them for their “fighting capacity”. The protest took a dark turn when the speaker said that people should cheer when US soldiers lose their lives. I got an opportunity to ask the speaker whether he hates America or not. His response didn’t surprise me. Does this point to sleeper cells operating right under our noses in American cities?

Thanks for showing this clip, @KateBolduan. Here’s why this makes me so mad ⬇️ I grew up poor. My family lived in public housing. I watched my parents struggle A LOT just to make ends meet. Because of the Democrat shutdown of DHS, our TSA agents are now feeling the same hardship I watched my parents go through. It makes me FURIOUS. If Democrats (who make $174k) want to block the paychecks of TSA agents (who make ≈ $50k), they shouldn’t get their paychecks either. I’ve tried to pass my No Budget, No Pay bill to make that happen, but Democrats block it every time. @SenRubenGallego even said he couldn’t support it because he has a mortgage to pay….does he think TSA agents don’t have bills too? Yes, I’ve had success in business. I won’t apologize for that and it will NEVER keep me from fighting for people who are being treated unfairly. I donate my entire Senate salary every year and am leading the fight to make members of Congress go without pay if they force that upon federal employees in a shutdown. I don’t know why the Democrats won’t support my bill.
