The U.S. is fast-tracking the deployment of thousands more Marines and sailors to the Middle East. The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, about 2,200 troops, is set to deploy from San Diego aboard the USS Boxer, with additional ships likely joining.

Especially when we haven't been given a clear reason why we're at war to begin with.

You can’t have this much energy infrastructure destroyed and expect oil prices to return to prior levels anytime soon. Even if the war ends tomorrow, it’ll take time to bring these facilities back online, and there’s still no clear end of it in sight.
