@Underwood_szn If usc and Michigan win out the team getting left out would be Oregon. Now I don’t think this Michigan team would be good enough in the playoff this year. But that would be the scenario

Even if Michigan finds a way to go 10-2. we might have slight issues making the playoffs. Remember we would be blocked by both USC and Oklahoma if they end up at 10-2 also. I think things would work out and we would make it but still something to monitor.
