Today @JTON_ and I kicked off a speedrun challenge of our Infinite map Project Air Parkour.

@Forcifyy I hold crouch until I land then uncrouch to quickly press sprint and slide and dont let go of crouch until I land again and its just that on repeat.

@Forcifyy upslopes give a little speed boost so it offsets any speed you lose. much stronger in other seasons but still possible after upslope changes.

@MintBlitz I sometimes see people quit depending on the weapon spawn for that game. Random weapon pad spawns shouldn't be a thing outside of a fiesta playlist.

My feedback.
You can’t have a hyper competitive playlist and then have random weapon pad spawns.
Either let up on the SBMM or make it even starts for everyone.
One side of narrows has overshield, the other has camo? Really weird decision.

@MintBlitz One major problem is that games lasting longer than 30 minutes just become impossible to join. You have to join in super early or be locked out forever.

343 needs to fix the Custom Games Browser on Halo Infinite ASAP.
People are playing it a lot now but there's huge functionality issues in terms of joining games still.

@Shyway yeah you can get some crazy late jumps in older games but I will say infinite does make it pretty easy to get decent ones.

Interesting. Some aspect of this has been in the game since launch, thanks to Infinite's "Step Jump" mechanic..
But this is different, clearly S4 made some changes/buffs here.

Apparently, ghost jumping is now a thing. Every edge feels like there's an invisible barrier where you have the time to jump back up. You can attempt way longer jumps as well if you time it at the last second. Not sure if this is intentional.

@milkwayfps feel like ghost jumps not working are part of a bigger issue of general foot attachment feeling off.
I dont especially want ghost jumps back but I want it to feel responsive like it was in season 3
