@GibsonTomgibo Yeah I actually think this will not help things going forward

I never knew Wallcreeper ate Reptiles.I watched this Bird catch a small Lizard/Gecko today and devour it! #wallcreeper #rarebirds

@Jake_Gearty My goodness Jake. Not wrong. Many lessers?
English

@GibsonTomgibo Very few people put the effort in for species like this.
English

@Jake_Gearty I know 1 West Sussex spot at least (the well known one) and various places in Surrey but want to try and establish if they are still to be found in places where the habitat is unchanged but the birds assumed gone or at least forgotten by most birders
English

@GibsonTomgibo They're still very present in East Sussex but I absolutely couldn't tell you where to look in West Sussex. But they're absolutely out there!
English

@Jake_Gearty I spent all morning searching local historical sites for them and not a peep. Even in the best looking local habitat birds are seen every 1-2 years. Still going to try those areas again.

@readbirdphotos Remind me to question all of your Cow records from the Downs, Marc 😂
English

@MarcHeathym007 @SoundBirder @james_lidster @SBO_Jason @gibbard_crisis @KentishPlover Is it not a cow?
English

@sferguk My pair lasted me 5 years before they needed some patch work doing. Hoping I can fix them 🙏
English

What can I say its been a good birthday this yr lots of nice new toys. Ive never used these before I only hope they're better than those crappy Muck boots I had that lasted just 3 years before totally falling apart. I might add my 18yr old cheap Dunlopes still look brand new.

Epsom, South East 🇬🇧 English

Pleased to catch up with @Griffonfulture Southwold Hume's Warbler. Initially gave the run around despite being fairly vocal at times. It eventually showed fairly well before the rain came through. A subtly beautiful bird but made oh so distinguishable by that Pied Wag-esq call!

English

After to presumed Pallid Swifts were seen at the @SelseyBirder Bill yesterday, this morning we all joked about seeing one today, then at 8AM I scanned behind us and picked this up! 1/3

@BEACHYBIRDER A noticeably broad yellow-brow almost looked like Pallas's from some angles last weekend!
English

Beachy Head: Finally saw the lingering Yellow-browed Warbler above Francis Bottom, nice to see a return to form for these over the last few autumns. Also on the move, Crossbill, Siskin, Redpoll, Woodlark and several 100 Starling. @SussexBirding

Isabelline Shrike sp. at Woods Mill, West Sussex this afternoon always distant but a great bird for the county @SussexBirding @BirdGuides @SussexOrnitholo

@JLowenWildlife You need someone experienced who has been before to show you the way

I've got nothing to add to the day but at least he'll stop going on about it now 🤣

Day 3 at Flamborough started with a Tawny Owl at South Landing, my whining then forced a twitch to Spurn for the Black-faced Bunting - good to see this after dipping at Donna Nook last year… Purple Sand and a SEO in-off (and heard only Hume’s Warbler) the other highlights.
