I’m SICK of people attacking those on benefits. I’ll say one more time. I had a partner and a beautiful family. But sadly he died. I had 4 kids by myself. I didn’t have family to help step in. I ended on benefits because I couldn’t afford childcare. My kids were 3yr, 5yr, 6yr and 15yrs old. You’re only ever one tragedy away from ending up on benefits. STOP judging when you don’t know people’s story’s. Also many people on benefits work. Why should they have to top up their wages? Shouldn’t companies pay liveable wages in the first place? It’s more like corporation subsidies imho. You’re blaming the wrong people. It’s the system that works against us not the people themselves.

She and her partner has four no problem but when you lose an entire wage because of your partner dying.. how can one reasonable be expected to plan for that? We have an aging population and need people to be having more children...

@clairebubblepop FOUR? why??? The benefit system could be adapted for those falling on hard times but it should NOT encourage having children when one already can't afford more.

Conflicting because I feel the need to click Ali’s name but sadly that series was not it. It’s definitely BB1. The series was slick (production wise) from start to finish - and where they did go wrong, it felt like they listened. We complained about backdoors / non live editions and so they let AJ evict Jenkin and Tom from the studio. We complained about cutting the live stream, so they fully let us find out Matty had been evicted by leaving the stream on. It was on such an upwards trajectory! (Plus the cast delivered, the evictions were iconic and it was an INCREDIBLE final five). But then last year it was back to square one with those decisions, MORE backdoors which were godawful and the C5 style meddling began. It might be an unpopular opinion but I think the HoH was worse than the eyeballs this year, but both were still wholly unnecessary and worst of all VERY inconsistent. Last but not least, the shit stirring tasks need to GO. We didn’t have many at all in the first series and the tensions hit the ROOF. It’s not needed!!!!! They cast the show so well, then it’s like they don’t trust the cast to carry it. But Big Brother has proven time and time again, THEY WILL. Let it be a 24/7 social experiment!
