the more crypto founders i meet, the more i think crypto needs its own YC style accelerator. crypto is its own universe - niche, yet products are instantly global. founders massively benefit from building alongside peers at the same stage. advice given has to be crypto native: smart contract coding, token design, regulatory from day 1, and the GTM playbook are nothing like web2. the partner/advisor bench would need to come from the tiny set of operators who’ve actually scaled crypto companies - arguably YC’s secret sauce. culture would be different too - more degen, more global. time for it is now!

pretty cool that this guy is the founder of @nokia , a company that's almost 200 years old... would be cool to look into similar-ish companies, eg Nintendo, and try to find commonalities in institution building, culture etc.

Yeah, if they would stop forcing Revolut accounts, that'd be great. Overdraft specifically feels like a "Revolut affiliate" how far into the process they disclose you HAVE to use Revolut, so they just pass the whole headache onto the Revolut account creation side. In other words, zero help compared to verifying with an exchange to use my existing bank account. Even worse, they force me to create ANOTHER bank account. Big thumbs down for @OverdraftX at the moment. Expectations (and how it's pitched) and reality are on totally different planets at the moment.

I am hearing @OverdraftX and @moonpay is cooking on that front

zkFetch by @reclaimprotocol is a great developer experience, rare combination of unopinionated and very useful. Can imagine it being native to a JS environment in the near future

perhaps future generations will consider that a limiting factor for 'growth' (however defined) in our times was the unnatural separation between Athens and Jerusalem. A strong mind without direction is dangerous - a strong mind with missionary spirit is personified by the likes of @elonmusk . Messiah complexes can lead to miracles
