Ron is a really good defender like Tayshaun was, but offensively they’re not close yet. Tayshaun had a post game, foot work, a better handle, and a developing jumper. You never know tho, we’ll see what happens
Pistons have a Bright Future@razvinator
@IAmEricVincent We had Tayshaun Prince sitting idle on the bench at that time. Can Ron Holland be our Tayshaun this time?

I really used the pod last night to get off every single emotion lol
Hey, its Bob!@bobbybuilder239
@KuKhahil You really cooled off lol
English

@KuKhahil @ccrawley05 Idk about that, I’d prob come in around 30. Alpren is making 37yr. Idk if we can tier them the same.
English

@ccrawley05 What was it rumored before the 5/250 with all nba? Something like that?
I’d say to lower it around 37.5yr
English

The Pistons have a young trio of guys that were capable of winning 60 games. They’re all under 24 years old. Yes they’ve come up short. Yes they have weaknesses.
They were good enough to win 60 games.
7 years ago fans hated trading the future away from short sighted, low ceiling reasons. Now DET has a young trio with an incredibly promising future that’s already made incredible leaps, and one playoff series is enough to say F it get rid of them?
Darren Weiss@DW33zyy
@KuKhahil What’s dumb about it? You can’t run a play for 2 of the 3 guys you mentioned. Regular season is different than playoffs
English

@KuKhahil I agree. Also, Ausar is easily my 2nd fav player after Cade. But man, pls god get him the proper development to hit some of those middies that he’s wide open on this offseason. He honestly has a nice looking shot too, can’t be that big of an ask. He’ll be a weapon…
English

You obviously cannot and should not pay him that rumored amount. You cannot pay that much after something like this. He should make much less than that now.
But, I’m also not actively trying to get rid of a 22 y/o that had a great season and just struggled in the PS. The shit sucks.
I’m not letting the present disappointment sucking force me into me making rash, irresponsible, and hurtful decisions with the team.
English

@KuKhahil Man sorry for commenting on everything. Just sick right now. Thanks for your content in times like these even. It honestly helps keep us sane knowing we all are feeling it together :/ just can’t believe that first quarter knowing the importance of the game. WTH
English

*Trajan is not trading him or Duren*
If the Pistons front office and anyone watching this series came away saying that *ausar* is the player who should go and hasn’t held up his end of the bargain, then I got nothing for ya
D.O.C@DOC323123
Good as Ausar is I think DET gotta sell high
English

@KuKhahil Crazy I vividly remember Kevin Heurter dropping over 20 twice in the second round against Philly when he was with the Hawks…. Should’ve really got him ramping sooner. He’s a better player than Duncan especially against a team like Orlando. Just being honest 🤷🏻♂️
English

Depending on how game 5 or if they pull of a miracle (very much doubt), I think it’s likely what actually happens is Duren ends up signing for much less than what was reported. AT will be the harder one to negotiate with because outside of game 4, he’s been great and could have another good game in game 5. If he plays well game 5, I doubt you get a scam contract.
But, if he has a tough one, you might get him on a scam contract, too.
And then you head into next season with another year of development for AT/Duren, but after also aggressively filling in the gaps they need around them.
Seems like the very obvious, clear route they’ll take.
English

I know it’s a frustrating and disappointed community, trust me I’m a big part of it.
I’m already seeing stupid shit said about the future of Detroit by those outside.
Removing the frustration from this series, what’s very likely to happen this summer is Trajan Langdon will aggressively rebuild a team around Cade/AT/Duren that fills the needs/weaknesses that they need filled that were shown in this series. That’s what he has said the plan is for a year+ now.
And honestly, anyone that is suggesting that, while a disappointing one, a 60 win team that was led by a 24/23/22 year olds in their first real season being this good should move on from any of them after their first ever playoff series is incredibly short sighted and has lost the plot.
And really just downright dumb.
English

@KuKhahil @philiprr_OMD Tbh Ku, idk bout you but last game hurt more. This one I kinda saw coming. Duren with the 3 game sample size heading into this one was enough to know better. Also knowing we most likely wouldn’t get an ausar game that good back to back. This was just icing on the cake smh
English

Last think I’ll say before I ✌🏽out off this app for the rest of playoffs
Congrats to my guy @philiprr_OMD , happy for him and enjoy covering the next round.
Pistons fans, I have 0% belief in them coming back 3-1. This series is over. If they prove me wrong and I’m on freezing cold takes, I’ll celebrate being absolutely wrong with everyone else.
English

It’s deadass shocking, man. Legit shocking. Wasn’t just a play finisher, I was watching him use incredible balance and agility on drives with counters once a defender walled off a drive. The touch with either hand whether it be scoops, hooks, floaters, etc.
Shocked, man.
Hoopology@hoopologyxx
Reminder of Duren's scoring this season. Actually had a very diverse scoring style. Just a disappointing drop off this post season
English

@JournalwithAlex @KuKhahil Study basketball you will understand eventually
English

The only positive I can take for the Pistons is that I truly feel like they’ve played like shit.
And I give the Magic more credit than I was previous giving them, but the Pistons are hurting themselves and playing shit.
And despite that, game 1 they were in it late. Game 2 all it took was a good 8 minutes. And game 3, again while playing like shit, were able to take a lead with 2 minutes left.
The only positive you can feel as a Pistons fan is if they just play a consistent, 48 minute B game they should be able to win the series still.
English

@nbalive123 @doubleOwhitey @KuKhahil Yep, he’s going up so frail. He’s big enough to bump WCJ to create just enough space before going up. But he’s not doing it when he gets those 1v1’s
English

@doubleOwhitey @KuKhahil Hes also had multiple chances getting to the rim 1on1 using his body like he has all season but he damn mear air balls it every time
English

And respectfully, I don’t think people outside of Detroit understand why we’re so shocked about Duren.
Because he wasn’t just a lob threat and play finisher. For 25 consecutive games, he was self creating on higher volume and scoring at an absurdly efficient level.
The fact that not only is he not able to self create *at all*, but he also losing the rebounding battle to WCJ 17-9, it’s just…
I could not in my wildest dreams have thought this is how he’d look.
English

@nbalive123 @doubleOwhitey @KuKhahil Fair point. It’s not every time but there is possessions where one extra pass to a slashing Ausar or Green will get it done. But good point.
