And respectfully, I don’t think people outside of Detroit understand why we’re so shocked about Duren.
Because he wasn’t just a lob threat and play finisher. For 25 consecutive games, he was self creating on higher volume and scoring at an absurdly efficient level.
The fact that not only is he not able to self create *at all*, but he also losing the rebounding battle to WCJ 17-9, it’s just…
I could not in my wildest dreams have thought this is how he’d look.

The only positive I can take for the Pistons is that I truly feel like they’ve played like shit.
And I give the Magic more credit than I was previous giving them, but the Pistons are hurting themselves and playing shit.
And despite that, game 1 they were in it late. Game 2 all it took was a good 8 minutes. And game 3, again while playing like shit, were able to take a lead with 2 minutes left.
The only positive you can feel as a Pistons fan is if they just play a consistent, 48 minute B game they should be able to win the series still.

@IAmEricVincent Yet we all knew this at the deadline but Trajan needs more time to evaluate.

Cade Cunningham wasn’t great today but the glaring need for true secondary scoring to help him looks major in these losses #Pistons

@lazchance @Halbridious They may start blitzing him like Lakers did on Durant

@Charlottean28 Would have been nice to play them but yeah here comes a greater challenge in Orlando

@Charlottean28 Wemby will just wait for Deni to drive into the paint. It’s Clingam who needs to take and make threes to bring Wemby out. Don’t see it happening

@KuKhahil @lazchance And I agreed because we saw it last year with JB.

Re/ Ron take:
For those who listened, y’all know it wasn’t me talking down on Ron at all and I love Ron and think he’s gonna be crazy good. For those who didn’t, it basically came down to numbers game and I made a 10-man rotation that came down between RH/JG because I know both Caris/Daniss will be playing.
Went with JG because of how lethal he’s been in the corners and how valuable I think that would be in the playoffs.
However, I know and completely understand the value of Ron Holland on defense and his ability to just go Tasmanian Devil for 3 minutes and score 10 points outta nowhere.
Last 8 games he’s shooting 48% from three, if he’s actually gonna be hitting open threes with consistency, it’s not even close who you play.
I want to make it clear for non-listeners grabbing clips/quotes and running with it: I am very high on Ron lol
Also, my take had much more to do with the fact that I believe JB is gonna play Caris no matter what. If it was me, I’d play both JG/RH and just sit Caris. But, yk

@IAmEricVincent We were due for another vet to score at will against us.
