@Grambitious Yeah, I was brought up Christian, and I still want to believe in God, but a lot of stuff within the Bible is just random bs.

@JuvyDev Yeah there’s literally multiple verses in the Bible that say to kill non believers. Mostly OT stuff but I know people love to use OT to justify other forms of hate. Double standards out the ass.

If the earth was a human, religion would be cancer. Almost all wars are low key religiously fueled. I don’t like real people dying over imaginary characters.

@Grambitious I can see your argument there, and do I agree it causes a lot of violence. Especially when people follow religions that quite literally tell them to do harm.

@JuvyDev I think you could get anything positive religion has to offer inside of a self help or meditation book. It doesn’t offer anything revolutionary or tangible. It does however cause real tangible violence and that’s echoed across all of history. I think the bad outweighs the good.

@BRobo82 The left one does look better. You could say "if AI wasn't a thing, then you would like the right one!" but there's a reason for the bias against the AI look. Even if AI didn't exist and this was some other form of filter, I wouldn't enable it, it ruins the original image.

If you were an artist at a dev studio and your engine team colleagues asked you which screenshot looks better, and you pointed to the left one, you'd be fired on the spot.

@tylerosborn @BRobo82 @fServ_Art @IsThisA3DModel I don't support Badrobo's take at all either, but Dreams is far different from Mario maker lmao. It's a game engine that takes years to fully learn and it's pretty fucking powerful.

@SMii7Y @ArtzyYT looks like they fed your image through AI for at least some parts of theirs, as the collar has that same line on the right but with a specific sloppy AI faded look to it. The whole collar is giving major AI vibes to me.

My friend, @ArtzyYT is the original artist of this rendition of the 1000 yard stare meme. He spent days on this piece and to see everything ripped off down to hand position and outfit is pretty sad. I have no issue with people doing their own versions inspired by it. But literally all you have to do is just change some shit up man. I of course don't own the 1000 yard stare meme but the only difference in this piece is the club is different and the head shape.

This is game development. Sometimes I have to draw stuff out so I can clear my head of game concepts. Making this simple diagram literally freed my mind of clutter. Onward.

@JonasTyroller An actual good world with a decent story. Like dude, the most popular horror game right now is a puzzle game (poppy play time) it’s just that if it’s not done right puzzles can sort of be negative appeal lol. Having something extra, on top of the puzzles is the key I think.

People who don't typically enjoy puzzle games, what would it take for you to enjoy one?

Impressive. If AI can use the same interface as humans, the artist can step in at any time to tweak it rather than wrestle a prompt box.
