Well my youngest might have lost his big toe today. At the hospital trying to put it back together. Huge bench tipped over and his toe took full hit. Not pretty. I wish I could take his pain away. This sucks so much.

Sometimes I catch myself watching my children like I’m already missing them. Then I get this overwhelming urge to cry because time is moving through them faster than I can catch it. Like trying to memorize a dream while you’re still inside it & already waking up. And one day you’ll pick them up with mysteriously sticky fingers & cheeks & it’ll be the last time…but neither of you will know it’s the last time. That’s how most endings in life happen too. Always disguised as ordinary days. So answer the endless questions, tie the shoes twice, build the fort, read the bedtime story & give them your attention like it’s the only thing in the world that matters, because to them, it is. These are the moments & sounds you’ll one day search for in a house that no longer makes them. And you’ll realize you were holding forever in your arms all along, even while you thought it was just today.

@HorrorUntitled Haha yeah I was just kidding, I care not about such trivial things. It’s cool when AAA games have stuff like that for novelty though. If you did that players would expect physics in like every single object and no ones got time for that

@Grambitious Thanks dude! I’ve been debating this with myself lol - my covered lamps will have physics, but my uncovered bulbs I was leaning towards no, mostly because if you hit them with a weapon, the bulb should break like in real life, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go down that road 😂

I don’t know why Déjà vu is a thing, but I like to believe it happens at some sorta quantum crossroads where you get another shot at a moment to fix/prevent something from going worse. It makes no sense, but it’s a very real thing I felt and it’s hard to make sense of.

I experienced Déjà vu a few minutes before my son got really hurt last night, I remember leaning over him as he munched an apple, thinking this has happened before…

@Grambitious There are few things as painful as your own children getting hurt. My oldest (now 10) face-planted in a parking lot when she was about 2. She chipped one of her front teeth. Luckily a baby tooth. But I'll never forget that sound like a melon getting crushed.
