@joe73595582 First owner kept it like that for 6 years, felt obligated to keep it going, but I think I’m ready to take it off now.. it’s not that comfortable lol

@KosterAg That plastic has done better than most fabric does. I would have pulled it 10 years ago.

@kendalwpg That looks very similar to the one I got last year, they work good and flow lots with full air tanks, but drain air quick. They don’t like less than 80 psi so 1-2 sprayer loads before starting the truck again

Anyone use these 35 gal/min pumps for water? Im thinking about using one on a spray tender to have a dedicated fresh water supply...or better to use a second gas pump...want to plumb to handler rinse, jug rinse, and extra hose. Do they have enough even and constant pressure?

@joe73595582 Thanks for the follow up from our chat earlier this week! I’ve kinda heard the Galaxy was better than the stock Firestones, good to know they’re holding up well

This is the replacement tire I used for my 1895. It’s lasted at least 5 years on the main frame and still looking good.

Do I cut the red wire or the blue wire? Or the purple wire? Or the red with the white stripe?

@Andrew_Dalgarno We have a stock general purpose in one and airfoil non adjustable in the other, in canola somewhat similar losses and maybe a touch cleaner sample, airfoil worked pretty good for us in the grass seed

Anybody running an aftermarket punched sieve (top or bottom) instead of the factory adjustable? Would that solve some of the canola sample issues? I remember stacks of sieves from the MF days in 70s/80s. Air foil top sieve. Etc.

@gmanness82 @DtotheIzzoAcres Which monitor were you using? First impressions of the 1800 we have on ours, not a big fan yet. X20 seemed nicer to use and less cumbersome

Looking forward thoughts/ opinions on rusted out JD 1910 aircart as we have no experience with green carts For +- similar dollars would you swap all the meters/pipes to stainless and fix it all —— or find a Bourgault cart? Mainly used for Wheat, oats, canola, soys

@KosterAg Definitely jd more accurate with roller to secondary tubes already. And yes bg electronics is nothing to be desired. But the loading cleaning out and calibrating is way way better

@DtotheIzzoAcres Agreed. Deere is definitely over complicated in the meter department. BG loads nicer and cleans out better too, and is simpler but the electronics and having primary towers leave something to be desired

@KosterAg Went from 1910 to bourgault cart. Found the bourgault much simpler

@Jason_hildo Kind of leaning towards Deere, but it looks like it could be double that $$ and we’re not even talking conveyor yet. Pros and cons to each forsure, I’m torn between the two

@KosterAg Deere would be good probably after u spend 15-20k on stnless boxes/tubes. Is it worth it gain 3-5k in resale? Are you keeping the cart for 10, 20 years? Also remember BG can be rust too just not as much meters but everywhere else. But I can see why Deere guys want Deere monitors.

@ISchmidtFaced Hmm, try a reboot or closing and reopening the field? I’ve had weird glitches before and that solved it. If it’s more of a weave that feels like gps is playing catch-up to get online first try fool around with P gain and D? Gain

@KosterAg Nope. Moves 20” in under a second, then 3 seconds later moves 20” back. So tractor moves and creates skips.
