It’s when sides in the USL love football, but ultimately have no chance of making the MLS, in which they pivot

I think relegation is more plausible than you think though, but the league directors would rather keep using it as a cash cow over a proper football league lol.

@Ldkav04 @only1winsLA @LAGalaxy310 Promotion and relegation would not work in this country. The game is not popular enough to sustain smaller clubs getting relegated. It would kill countless clubs. The euro model is hardly much better anyways, or at least as it is currently.

@deepmrbroderick @only1winsLA @LAGalaxy310 That’s down to the money put in from TB rights and such the MLS has. It does work, but when teams like Inter Miami are gifted as a team, to an ex footballer in attempt to make him join the league in the later 2000’s then yeah, it’s going to struggle.
