@talyaTheeEnby Our local libraries look more like government assistance programs than anything else these days. Sad to see the change in the past 10 years or so, but not a place I'd take my kids anymore.

@talyaTheeEnby Property taxes in my county help to fund my library. The retail price of the first couple of trips I make to the library in January is higher than the part of my property taxes that goes to the library. I read 3-4 books a week, and the library saves me so much money!
