Phoenix is essentially locked into the 7th seed, and we’re already seeing it with Book ruled out and Jalen Green potentially sitting, no real incentive to push starters. I’ve got Mark projected closer to less than 25 minutes, which is key for this line. Without Booker, he’s gone over in 6/16 games, but when he plays under 25 min, he’s cleared this line in just 2/12, averaging 13.3 PR. Matchup doesn’t help either. The Lakers are still playing with urgency and have been solid defensively vs C’s all year, allowing the 10th LEAST PR to the position this season. Against top-half defenses vs C’s (in PR allowed) without Booker, Mark has gone over in just 1/10 games, averaging 12.6 PR. Queen just logged 37 minutes last game, and I’m expecting another 35–36+ min workload here with the current rotation. He’s averaging 16.5 PTS per 36, but that jumps to 19.3 PTS when you take Zion, Trey, Missi & Matkovic off the floor, which is the situation we’re dealing with again. In games where he sees 31+ minutes, he’s gone over this line in 13/16, putting up 18.4 PPG. Matchup vs Boston isn’t ideal, but usage should make up for it. He started at the 4 last game alongside Looney, which likely puts him on Hauser, where Queen has a clear size advantage. Pelicans coaching staff also mentioned wanting to give the rooks extended run down the stretch, so the minutes + opportunity should be there. Tonight’s SGP🎯 Jalen Brunson Under 2.5 Threes Made + Scottie Barnes 10+ PTS (-120, Bet365) | 0.5u Scottie is mainly a dejuicer here, he’s cleared this in 93% of games this season and is 4/4 vs NY. With this being a must-win spot for Toronto, this leg should take care of itself. Now the main angle: fading Brunson’s threes. Toronto has been excellent at limiting perimeter looks all year, allowing the 10th LEAST 3PA, and tightening up even more lately, 5th LEAST in L10. They’ve also been elite specifically at taking away above-the-break looks, allowing the 4th LEAST threes from that area in the L10 games. They’re very intentional with Brunson defensively, playing him super aggressively and that forced him into the paint rather than giving up clean looks from deep. It’s shown in the matchup too: Brunson has gone over this line in just 1/4 H2Hs vs Toronto. On top of that, this is a B2B spot, where he’s struggled from deep, hitting this line in just 1/11 B2B games this season, averaging only 1.6 3PM. This line feels too high!📉 Jalen Suggs Under 24.5 PRA (-115, Bet99) | 0.5u Must-win game for Orlando Magic, but the spot isn’t ideal with a potential blowout vs the Bulls (15+ pts spread). Orlando is also working key guys back into the rotation like Franz Wagner and Anthony Black, which should cut into Suggs’ usage. Last game with everyone healthy, Suggs played just 25 minutes and finished with 15 PRA on a season-low 13.3% usage (well below his 22% average). In games with 30 min or less, he’s gone over in just 10/35. And with a fully healthy core (Wagner, Black, Paolo Banchero), he’s over in just 2/12, averaging 20.5 PRA. Yes, Chicago has been a soft matchup, but even in 2 H2Hs, Suggs finished with 18 PRA in both, and in each of those games, key pieces were missing (Paolo, Franz).
