@peeplaja I agree, yet I still see very few part-time roles. Companies need to adapt; they're ignoring such a valuable opportunity.

Various studies indicate that the average office worker is productive for around 2 to 3 hours per day. I've recently had tremendous success with part-time employees (20h/week). They're basically fully productive - for half the cost. The requirement here is that they don't have a second job for the second half of the day. The rest of the day should be filled with studies (e.g. doing MBA), kids or other non-computer work. If they have another part-time job also, then it doesn't matter as they still do computer work for 8 hrs/day. My experiments with hiring fractionals didn't work out for this reason - they had multiple clients, various deadlines with different companies, split attention, constant context switching, very limited mind space. As a result, not productive.
