@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase And again, thank you for proving my op right AGAIN. No I won't. I've backed every manager since Ferguson up until amorim, and I was against him from day 1 because I hate 5 atb formations but was desperate for him to prove me wrong

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase Back your tactically inept manager. The good thing is when you fail to win trophies, get battered next season even with new players, you'll be the first to call him out, then you'll remember your emotional driven arguments, and you'll be ashamed of yourself, that it happned again

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase To see our team being the most inform team in the league at a time when results have been crucial (as carrick said himself a few days ago) but be more concerned with whether we dominated every game from start to finish is insanity

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase To watch these games: Everton, Crystal Palace, Spurs, Chelsea, Leeds, Bournemouth, Brentford, West Ham and tell me United played well is beyond madness.

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase Yeah we have seen this script before, people trying to claim the manager has us playing worse football than we actually have, and trying to pass all the good stuff off as "vibes" and "individual brilliance". You are following the script pretty well tbf to you. Props

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase I watch every game. During pre season I wake up stupid o'clock of the morning to watch meaningless pre season games. Saying "you dont watch the games" just because someone disagrees with you is mental

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase Thank you for proving my point again. Would not believe we are the most in form team in the league based on the way people on this app are talking about him Yeah spot on, the fact that Carrick is currently doing better than any other manager itl makes him the best candidate

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase Everton, Crystal Palace and Spurs (before red cards), Chelsea, Leeds, Bournemouth, Brentford, West Ham, were good, right? United played well? Understand one thing, Amorim being trash doesn't mean Carrick is the best candidate.

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase Tbh almost every game has felt a million times times better than the dross I had to endure under the previous manager Thank you for proving this correct btw... x.com/MUFCkyle10/sta…

@commissionase The biggest rot at Manchester United that needs sorting out right now is its fanbase. We are the most in form team in the league since Carrick came in. Would not believe that based on the way you lunatics are talking about him, the squad, the club etc... Get a grip

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase You'll agree that out of the 12 games Carrick has managed, United only played well in 3: City, Arsenal, and Villa, and that's despite playing once a week. That's enough to tell me he'll struggle next season, with multiple competitions to play in.

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase Yes, and I have also taken jobs like that and then been offered a permanent job because of my performance. The club is looking for a manager, the manager they have is doing better than any other manager in the league, seems insane to replace him to me

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase First, the objectives of the organization will determine whether or not you get the job permanently. Haven't you been to places where there's an opening and you're given a contract of say 3 months, and after that they let you go?

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase when his mate came in and smashed it but then ended up getting sacked a few years later?" How daft do you think they would sound?

@DerrickWan58019 @commissionase Imagine this was any other career. You're offered a temporary job, you absolutely smash it and do better than anyone in your line of work. You are being considered for the permanent job, but people are trying to discredit what you have achieved by saying "yeah but remember

@utdDumbz @commissionase This might be a wild concept to you, but believe it or not United fans are more concerned with what that manager has done at United. You know, the club they actually support?

@commissionase Manchester United fans want a manager who was unable to get his championship side promoted.. Something Lampard has done in space if a year..

I'm actually more interested in the fact he plays very good football and develops players.. I honestly can get behind that even if he wouldn't stand up to the board. Yes, he hasn't managed a big club but he's also not championship level.. Just saying.
Mark Goldbridge@markgoldbridge

Iraola plays better football and has a track record in developing players and building teams. But some will say he's not Premier League proven because he hasn't managed a big club...

@MUFCkyle10 @commissionase The most in-form team in the league, no doubt. Carrick has done a better job than Amorim, but he's not the best option moving forward, especially with UCL matches to consider. We need experience and tactics; he lacks both, based on the 12 games I have watched him manage.

Iraola… Similar to Carrick as a coach, but definitely better. Why? Both use a diamond press but Iraola’s model transitions into a man-to-man press with far greater reliability. In possession, basic balance is given to the players. Not hellbent on rigid positional play. With good recruitment, man-management skills to handle the dressing room, and emotional stability to deal with the highs and lows of managing a huge club, media pressure, etc, Iraola can succeed at Manchester United. Iraola does not profile as a traditionally elite coach but you don’t need to be to succeed at United. But neither did Klopp’s. Positional play wasn’t his forte (until later on in his Liverpool career). They are very similar coaches. Iraola’s game-model gives his players enough detail out of possession to press well but also to defend deep along with providing sufficient balance and freedom to the players in possession. But where Iraola differs to Klopp is his character. He lacks that presence and leadership. As a coach, the fit works as it aligns with United’s DNA. The only thing that Iraola must prove is if he is the right psychological profile to lead Manchester United. Does he deserve the opportunity to prove that? I think he does.
