🚨 Tweet #18: One word in this email changes everything. January 22, 2020. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Program Manager Ian Crone sent this to Professor Manos Antonakakis: "Would you, quietly, run a [REDACTED] job and grep for recent state/local/election targets?" Quietly. Not officially. Not through proper channels. Not with Department of Homeland Security knowledge or approval. Quietly. Then Crone explained why it needed to be done quietly: "We've gotten some pushback from the Department of Homeland Security who doesn't believe it's going on. They 'can't confirm' previous targeting and default to saying we're full of shit because if we're right it makes them look bad." Read that again. The Department of Homeland Security - the agency responsible for protecting American elections - was told about targeting of state and local election networks. Their response? They said Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency was "full of shit." Because if Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency was right it would make the Department of Homeland Security look bad. So Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency went around them. Asking a university professor to quietly run surveillance on state, local, and election targets. Outside official channels. Without Department of Homeland Security knowledge. This is the same Department of Homeland Security that four months later declared the 2020 election "the most secure in American history." They didn't believe the evidence. Or they didn't want to.

No voter ID, especially when combined with mail-in ballots, means the system is engineered to make fraud impossible to prove. Everyone knows that you can barely get through your week without showing ID for the most banal activities, like shopping at Costco. The only reason to ban ID is to hide massive voter fraud.

The reality is there's mass amounts of cheating in our elections. Just because there's an engineered lack of data, does not mean there isn't data to the contrary. The new CBS/YouGov poll shows that 80% of Americans support Voter ID including 80% of black Americans & 77% of Hispanic Americans. Yet why is it that Congress seems so intractable to wanting to pass a such a popular policy?

Lisa Murkowski has been on the Senate floor for over ten minutes. As a member of the GOP, she's doing an EXCELLENT job of advocating for the SAVE America Act… oh wait... no, she's not. She's explaining why it's apparently TOO HARD to overcome logistical and geographical issues because of sled dogs and other things far less important than our nation's sovereignty. The amount of effort these people put into opposing something as simple as voter ID is astronomical and only proves how afraid they are.
